The Silver Baron woke up in his office. He was on his couch, naked, and loosely covered in a single blanket. He groaned, grabbing the sheet, and wrapping it around his waist, as he slowly got up. He gathered his clothes, and put on his boxers and pants, before discarding the sheet.
Silver Baron: How...much did I have to drink?
Suddenly, he began to hear laughter. It caused him to grip his head in pain, as it only got louder and louder.
Silver Baron: FUCK!
The Silver Baron recognized the laughter, and was terrified about what that meant. He walked over to the bar, and looked at the wall mirror behind it, noticing the blood drawn markings on his forehead. He reached to touch them, but stopped when he saw a familiar purple-ish black flame appear behind his own reflection, forming into Oblivion.
Oblivion: Good evening, bitch!
Silver Baron: YOU!
Oblivion: Yes, it's me. The lunatic is freed.
Silver Baron: How? I thought I had you locked away in my mind.
Oblivion: Oh you did. And it was rather cramped. A certain...friend of ours however, basically handed me the keys willingly. Hence the blood.
Silver Baron: Dammit. I knew he was behind it.
Oblivion: I don't think he actually was, but I know he would be grinning at his sisters action's.
Silver Baron: Lacey? She set you free?
Oblivion: Ah hell yeah, ya pussy.
Silver Baron: That....BITCH!
The Silver Baron angrily swept away all the glassware on the bar top, before throwing a few of the stools around. He then picked up one of them, and sat down, looking back at the mirror.
Oblivion: You done yet?
Silver Baron: Why? Why would she do that?
Oblivion: Well Let's see. Ummm....you were wasting far to much mental energy trying to keep me down. Oh yes. Who knew, that me being chained up and silent made you weaker? Look at you since that happened. You lost the tag team titles, failed to make good on your promise to Kyle Travis, and lost in a singles match, when clearly, you were winning! You nearly ripped tall, silent, and stupid's arm right out of his fucken socket! It would have been a bloodgasmn!
The Silver Baron glared at Oblivion, while a couple of tears fell down his face. Oblivion kept laughing at him.
Oblivion: Look at you. You were feeling nothing! You were feeling empty. Because of that, you became complacent. What Lacey did, right after she shagged the fuck out of you, was helped you.
Silver Baron: You've never been of any help to me you bastard!
Oblivion: If you didn't have me, you'd be no one. You'd have lost to Stalker, and whatnot. Face it. Now that there is a golden opportunity for us to grab the top prize and keep it, you need me.
Silver Baron: Fuck Off! You're just a bloodline curse!
Oblivion then sighed, which surprised the Silver Baron a bit. Oblivion then grinned, knowing about the curse.
Oblivion: Ah yes. I had heard about it from mom. Yeah, I'm calling her my mother as well. And don't try to contest me, as we are one in the same. But really, am I just a bloodline curse, or am I something more?
Silver Baron: What do you mean?
Oblivion: What I mean is, it all comes down to you trying to deny, your natural aggressive nature. The more you do so, the more strength I gain. With that, more influence.
The Silver Baron sighed, and rubbed his temples. Once he was done, he nodded, reluctantly agreeing with his other half.
Oblivion: Look at yourself. You caused me to form, because you wanted to not use that nature of yours. While you might be a wrestler, you don't like hurting people, yet that's exactly what you're good at. And hurt people you shall continue to do so. You have blood on your hands from one man, who deserved to die. Then, there is the actual incident where I began my existence.
The Silver Baron glared at Oblivion, as the avatar of the Silver Baron's darkness once again began to chuckle.
Oblivion: It's funny. Who'd have thought, the actions of a fucken woman, would not only cause my existence, but to unshackle me.
Silver Baron: I am...I....
Oblivion: Hmm...you're going to what? Oh, kill Lacey? I know you were thinking that.
Silver Baron: FUCK!
The Silver Baron sighed again, looking down. He clenched his fists, and began to shake. But he felt something wash over him. With that, he looked up to the mirror again.
Silver Baron:...I want her to pay for what she did. But even so, it wouldn't make any difference.
Oblivion: And now you're starting to make sense. I know you still want to be rid of me. Hell, I know that you're thinking of finishing us both off. A foolish idea. Not only would I have won, should you do that, it would also solve nothing. It's not like I can hop to another body of my own free will. Of course because of that, I won't let you kill us.
The Silver Baron then softened his glare a bit, before he chuckled himself. That made Oblivion look at him with a questioning glance.
Oblivion: What's so funny?
Silver Baron: Hearing you admit you don't want to die, even though you want to cause endless chaos? That's what's funny.
Oblivion: Okay I give you that one. What can I say, I want to live through it all.
The Silver Baron sighed. He then looked at his palms, and flexed his fingers. Oblivion smirked again.
Oblivion: I have been saying this for years. Deny me, you deny a great deal of who you are. I don't know how many times I will say it before you get the message, but you will learn. As for now, well with everything going on, shouldn't you feel justified for wanting to rip things apart?
The Silver Baron glared at the mirror for a minute. Slowly though, he began to nod, in agreement.
Oblivion: Glad to see you agree with me. I look forward to what you alone can do. Afterall, you're great entertainment.
Silver Baron: Oh I'm soooo glad you feel that way.
Oblivion: Indeed. Just know this. I will thank Lacey, and I will have a night with Nicole. Don't try to stop me from getting those.
The Silver Baron grit his teeth in anger. That was something he didn't want to happen. Hell, he doubted he could actually forgive Lacey, because she not only broke a promise, she stabbed him in the back.
Oblivion: Lacey deserves my thanks. Afterall, what she did, I'm not surprised, and you shouldn't be. Afterall, isn't that what devils do?
The Silver Baron once again nodded in agreement with his darker half. Oblivion was no longer laughing, as the Silver Baron knew his darker half had gotten his point across.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the office door. Oblivion smirked again, as he stepped back, and faded from the Silver Baron's vision. The Silver Baron got up, and answered the door.
Silver Baron: Ah, Craven, how can I help you?
Craven: I’m fine… I heard some… Jesus, are you ok? You’re bleeding...
The Silver Baron sighed, before opening up the door, and motioned for Craven to come in. Craven looked around, and saw the mess that the Silver Baron had caused. They they made their way over to the Silver Baron's desk, where they sat down across from each other.
Silver Baron: Craven. Not gonna lie, things are not good right now.
Craven: Oh? Why's that?
Silver Baron: Where the fuck do I begin?
Craven: Well, you can start with that blood, how’d ya manage that bit of fucked-upedness?
Silver Baron: Oh you have no idea. This...a certain bitch decided to do this to me! Her actions was cause for one thing. She wanted Oblivion back.
Craven: Wait, what?
Silver Baron: Yeah. You heard me. And it worked. Yet...I can't help but feel like a part of me that I wasn't aware I was missing, has come back. I feel more...whole. Stronger.
Craven: Well...I suppose that's good, but didn't you get rid of Oblivion?
Silver Baron: No. Locked him up tight, but...that's no longer the case. However...There is a real, genuine silver lining in this. You can gain a measure of revenge for me.
Craven looked at the Silver Baron with surprise. He was not expecting his boss to say something like what he just said.
Silver Baron: The person who did this to me, was Lacey Roberts. One of your opponents on Mayhem, and a friend who betrayed me. I want you to show her why it's not a good idea to mess with us. Much like how we're going to do to Bene Elohim, and much like how we've done to every single dickwad who dared to go against SCK.
Craven sighed, and nodded. He even smirked after a couple seconds. It's not like he needed an extra reason to just win, but now, he was motivated to make Lacey pay for her sins. The Silver Baron then rubbed his temples again.
Silver Baron: SometimesIi find it amazing that I'm not the full on lunatic that Oblivion wants us to be. Especially with what has happened. I'm sick of what's been happening to us.
Craven: I can see that and with Sharpe, man… It’s gonna be a while before he’s doing anything. You’d think anyway and then you gotta wonder, who did it and why? I mean, my first bet would be Bene Elohim but you never know for sure.
Silver Baron: Agree. I swear Craven. I don't care how long it takes, but I will find that son of a bitch responsible for running down our friend, and I'll make the fucker pay for his sins. When that time comes, I will only accept one form of payment. In blood!
Craven: Yeah, whoever did it, shit’s on! But, until we find out, I suppose we got battles we have to fight first and hell, who knows what’s gonna happen with everything surrounding Tragic Engagement.
Silver Baron: I know. I hope one of us does make it. Either way, come Mayhem, what we have to do, we might live up to the show's name.
Craven: Of that, I have little doubt. Anyways...Thanks for telling me this stuff. But...I should head back out and check on security detail.
Silver Baron: Yeah, a good idea. And Craven...thanks.
Craven: For?
Silver Baron: For listening, and for having my back.
Craven nodded, as he got up, and left the office. Once he was out, the Silver Baron sighed, and grabbed his hair, trying to stretch it out a bit. After a few seconds, he stopped.
Silver Baron: I feel sorry for whomever I have to face on Mayhem.
The Silver Baron sighed, then remembered who he was facing. He actually smirked, knowing exactly who Maiko Adachi was.
Silver Baron: On second thought, that bitch deserves everything coming her way.
The Silver Baron looked around his office. He was looking for his camcorder. Due to the mess he made, it took him a few minutes to find it. But when he did, he set it up, and began to record another shoot.
Silver Baron: I find myself in an all to familiar position. A position of hatred. Hatred and rage, coursing through my veins. Many factors are involved.
First being which, is that Bene Elohim has done something to SCK. Actually reduced our numbers. Unlike when Freeman vanished, there is nobody right now to step in Sharpe's place. Run down after being lured to the garage. Seeing a man I held in massive regard because of his work ethics, get lured and trapped, and run over like a bitch...it's unsettling.
I know Bene Elohim basically orchestrated the attack. Hell they already humiliated him enough by causing him to lose to Kyle Travis. Even if they didn't finish Sharpe, I have this feeling, they know exactly who did. I told Craven this before, and I'll say it again. I swear, I will not only come after you guys, but I will find out who ran Sharpe over, and make them pay, in blood!
The events of the last few shows had indeed been weighing on his mind, as the Silver Baron was almost visibly shaking in anger. He remembered how they jumped him after he got laid, and their involvement with Quentin Sharpe's current condition.
Silver Baron: I know what most of you are thinking now. Why is Baron, after so many shows, talking like Oblivion is influencing him, when we saw him cast out. Well truth is, I can't ever cast out oblivion. I might try to unify us, but I can't get rid of him. I locked him away, but that lock was busted open. Hence the blood on my forehead.
This blood, was from a friend. Or at least somebody who I thought was a friend. Yet...the actions that Lacey Roberts took, it doesn't surprise me one bit. It might be a long time before I can trust her again, as having Oblivion back, constantly laughing and gnawing at my mind, it falls onto her this time.
The Silver Baron began to rub his temples. Though he had somewhat accepted the fact that Oblivion was back, it didn't mean he had to like it one bit.
Silver Baron: But what is also filling me with rage, is how I lost to Sentinal. That shouldn't have happened. But it did. Nothing I can do about it now, except be ready for next time. I'm pissed that I lost, because not only were every single one of you expecting it due to him being a big return,I was dominating him. I was on my way, to ripping out his arm, rendering him never to wrestle again.
I think...that's why I was not able to defeat him, or at least, was a good part of the reason. I didn't want to end the guy's career, but I know i was, and still am, willing to do whatever it fucken takes to win.
Yet inspite of that, who's still in the main event? Not Sentinal, but me.
The Silver Baron smirked at that. He couldn't help but gloat because despite losing, he was still main eventing, when logic dictates that the winner of the last main event, essentially had more right to. Not that the Silver Baron cared about that little detail.
After a few seconds, his smirk faded, as the Silver Baron was now focusing his thoughts o his actual match.
Silver Baron: Which brings me to whom I'm facing. It's not somebody who seems to get alot of ring time. Probably for the best. Maiko Adachi, is the unlucky person this week.
Why do I say unlucky? Because think of it this way. Things started off bad, and things have added on needless to say, I'm pissed off. And when the Silver Baron is pissed off, people get hurt, as I focus all my rage upon them, smothering them into the hate fueled flames.
However, there is alot more, then just needing her to be a punching bag. You see, she right now, is the ultimate boss, the leader of the Children now, which include Bene Elohim. And I'm sick of letting them, and the children, run wild in UWA.
But Maiko, why do you insist on keeping this bullshit up? Even McBride, the man you tried to lead you clowns, has abandoned you to the wolves. Your children have done NOTHING to actually warrant the fear they get. They failed to take our Aerynn, though likely succeeded in turning her into a lunatic. Oh big fucken deal? She's no more of a lunatic then alot of other people I know.
Face is Maiko, all you are now, is a leader of losers. The Children are not threatening, they are not something to be feared, they are only annoying us. Though I suppose that doesn't fully apply to Bene Elohim. However, much like anyone else who has interfered with my life, and gone after people I care about, they are going to find themselves completely destroyed.
The Silver Baron was more visibly shaking now, trying to contain his rage, saving it for his match. He even paced around for a minute, before continuing.
Silver Baron: Then what Maiko? What are you going to do about that afterwards? Not a fucken thing. You can say all your dark prayers, and worship your so called darkness, or whatever bullshit nobody cares about. You want to talk to somebody who actually knows real dark arts, and is good at causing chaos, talk to Lacey Roberts, if she's not been hospitalized!
Either way, Mayhem does not look good for you. You have to have a a few dozen horse shoes rammed up your ass if you want even a chance at defeating me. Because as I said, you're going to be feeling the full extent of my rage. Anyone who tries to interfere, will feel it to.
I will throw you around, bash you up, and make you bleed. All your sins, that you have tried to do unto others, shall be done unto you. You'll pay for them all, and then some. Because I get the feeling, you were the one behind Sharpe's Rundown. You may not have been the actual person, but something is telling me, that you ordered the attack. If I do find out that it was anyone the Children were associated with, all of you, will pay for it.
Regardless of that, i still am going to make you suffer. I'll show you, what true suffering is. To be bullied around, and shown zero mercy. Unlike some people, when you fight back, you'll only fail. Only when you beg me to end it, will I comply. And should you walk away Maiko...
The Silver Baron began to grin. Hehad an idea. An idea he felt would be a good way to humiliate Maiko Adachi. His grin didn't stop, and it turned into a full on sadistic smile that many would likely think that it's actually Oblivion talking at this moment.
Silver Baron: Well you do have the right assets. Maybe not full on like alot of my girls, but you do have potential. After I put you through an equal, if not more sound agony, that you have been doing to UWA with McBride, I'll make sure you can actually do something productive. You will become one of my whores!
The Silver Baron couldn't help but laugh at the thought. He knew it would be a fair justice. However, and a minute, he calmed himself down, and took a deep breath. He didn't like thinking that way, but he knew that he can get caught up in the moment.
Silver Baron: Hopefully, when all this...fury that I have been forced to feel and endure quickly, shall be released once I am finished with you Maiko, and Bene Elohim, so SCK can focus on the bigger pictures. Firstly, getting our UWA tag team titles back around our waists, and dominating the competition, so that when Tragic Engagement comes around...well let's just say that there is a very good chance, you're looking at your next world champion.
Maybe, with all this hate, chaos, and suffering that people have been forcing upon me, I think I see the silver lining in it now. It's made me stronger, so that when the time comes, I will be ready. You better believe that you can bank on that!
The Silver Baron sat on the edge of his desk, and look up at the camera. With that last thought,he gave a genuine smile, feeling like he had a true moment of clarity, amongst all the chaos.
Silver Baron: How...much did I have to drink?
Suddenly, he began to hear laughter. It caused him to grip his head in pain, as it only got louder and louder.
Silver Baron: FUCK!
The Silver Baron recognized the laughter, and was terrified about what that meant.
