The Silver Baron was seen walking around the Pleasure Dome, with an iPad handy. He was going over a few things that needed to be regularly checked, such as supplies, alcohol, and glassware. He smiled, seeing that he didn't need to replace any glasses, just needed a basic restock of items.
Female voice: Excuse me m...sir?
The Silver Baron turned around, having recognized the timid voice. He smiled, seeing Sin there. As the club wasn't open for business yet, she was in regular street clothes.
Silver Baron: Sin. How are you doing today?
Sin: I'm okay.
Silver Baron: Okay. Anything I can help you with?
Sin: Well, there was something I wanted to talk to you quickly about.
Silver Baron: Ah. Okay. Well, let's head to my office so we can discuss what you need.
Sin: Umm, okay.
The Silver Baron saved his documents and shut off his iPad, as the two headed to his office. When they got there, he pulled out a chair for her, as he sat down in his.
Silver Baron: So Sin, what's on your mind?
Sin: Well, Ummm...
Sin blushed a slight bit, avoiding eye contact with her boss. The Silver Baron sighed, but also smiled, knowing Sin sometimes got embarrassed about a few things.
Sin: I'm a bit worried about a few things.
Silver Baron: Oh?
Sin: Yeah. With what's been going on, I'm starting to think that some of the girls might be leaving.
Silver Baron: Leaving? Why do you say that?
Sin: Well...with what has happened before with Brittany and even Nicole, it has gotten some of the others thinking about leaving. Or so they tell me.
Silver Baron: Ah. Yeah I know. That's why I had that sit down with them a few weeks ago, to let them know, including you, that their safety is important. i'm certain everything is fine in that regard. But, you're not thinking about leaving, are you?
Sin: What? No not at all sir.
Silver Baron: Heh. That's good to hear. But...that's not all eh?
Sin: No sir. It's not.
Sin sighed, and shifted herself a bit, avoiding eye contact with the Silver baron again. It didn't take him long to figure out what was on her mind.
Silver Baron: Are you thinking that if some of the girls actually do leave, I might force you to become an escort?
Sin blushed, and nodded. This caused the Silver Baron to chuckle for a few seconds. Sin looked at him with concern, not knowing what to expect.
Sin: I'm also thinking...maybe I should anyways, you know...to help out at home a bit more. What with Sky being injured still.
Silver Baron: Ah. Looking at the overall big picture eh?
Sin: Yeah.
Silver Baron: Well it is good to think about the big picture once in a while. But thinking that you absolutely must become an escort, when clearly, you're not comfortable with it...Sin, you're breaking my heart thinking that way. I told you when I hired you, you do not have to do anything you're not comfortable with.
Sin: I know, but...things do change.
Silver Baron: They can, but I'm not somebody who's gonna screw you over unless you deserve it. Believe me when I say this Sin, you've done nothing to warrant that.
Sin: I..well...thank you for reassuring me.
Silver Baron: Not a problem Sin. Just remember. The only time you'll ever be an escort, is if you want to be. Sure most of my girls essentially are both dancers and escorts, but that's mostly because they were doing that stuff before, and are a bit more comfortable doing so at this point. Not like I'm asking you to be a porn star either.
The Silver Baron chuckled at that. Sin giggled at that for a moment, but then she became curious as to what the Silver Baron meant.
Sin: What do you mean by that sir?
Silver Baron; Oh. Yeah that's something I was going to talk with the girls later about. See I just got all the paperwork cleared and such, including now full ownership of that warehouse beside us, to use to make some extra money for everyone, through pornography. But again, if you don't want to do that, I'm not going to force you.
Sin: Okay. But what about the other girls? Won't they get a say?
Silver Baron: They will. In fact, a few of them gave me the idea, as they wanted to do this. Why not make it part of my business as well.
Sin smiled, getting the idea of what the silver Baron was getting at. She then sighed, and looked up at the ceiling.
Sin: There was...one more thing I wanted to tell you about.
Silver Baron: There is?
Sin: Yeah. It's about Brittany.
Silver Baron: Ah. How is she holding up now?
Sin: It's not good. She said the doctors she saw don't think they can fix the scarring, and well, she's freaked out by it. Says she doubt she'll ever be able to work again.
The Silver Baron sighed this time, and pinched the bridge of his nose, before shaking his head.
Silver Baron: Great. Another reason why I'm tempted to unleash Oblivion upon Kyle Travis, and not just in a regular match either. I wasn't happy with Brittany doing her freelancing business outside of the Pleasure Dome, but what happened to her might as well have been cold blooded murder!
Sin now had a frightened look on her face from the Silver Baron's sudden mood change. The Silver Baron noticed this, and sighed, trying to calm himself down.
Silver Baron: Sorry Sin. Didn't mean to snap like that. But...I am very much pissed off due to what he did there. As for Brittany, she knew the risks of freelancing, hence why I have tried to repeatedly tell her to work something out with me if she needed extra money. Regardless, I have something in mind that could help her, but I would like to talk to her about it myself. Set a few things straight and hopefully get her fixed up.
Sin: You'd do that for her?
Silver Baron: Indeed. However there are a few conditions that I'm going to have to set for her.
Sin: I see. Like what kind, if you don't mind me asking sir?
Silver Baron: Well....I haven't thought that far, but nothing that would cause her to quit.
Sin: Ah. That's good. In any case, thank you sir.
Silver Baron: It's no problem Sin.
Sin: Okay. I'll see you later boss. Oh, and good luck in your match against Sentinal.
Silver Baron: Thanks Sin.
Sin smiled, as she left the office. The Silver Baron smirked, feeling like something beyond just another day at the Pleasure Dome was accomplished.
Silver Baron: This is indeed going to be one helluva match. But from what I understand, based on what Talon has said, they haven't quite grasped the entire picture yet. Heh. Well I still have time to help enlighten them.
The Silver Baron chuckled for a second, as he pulled out his camcorder, and set it up. He even put on his jacket and fedora, and also grabbed his cane. He then pushed record, beginning his next video.
Silver Baron: Ladies and gentlemen of the UWA galaxy, I'm not sure if I mentioned it in my last shoot, but this Mayhem's main event, is going to be one to remember. Mainly because the world playa, the king of pimps, the Silver Baron, will be featured, for everyone's viewing pleasure. Because as you all know, when the Baron's around, everyone' asses are down, until the bell rings upon Baron's victory.
Now don't everyone all sit here watching that I'm talking a big game. No no no. I always talk the truth. Whether or not I'm in a good mood, or becoming the evil one that is Oblivion, I always speak the truth.
And the truth of the matter is, there is another very good reason why people's asses will be in their seats when the main event comes. For it's the return, of the one and only Silent Destroyer, Sentinal!
With that the Silver Baron pulled out his chair, and a cigar. He lit up his cigar, as he sat down. He took a puff of his cigar, and smirked.
Silver Baron: Now as I last spoke, I said a few things. Namely that I am indeed looking forward to this challenge, that I will overcome. See as awesome as it is to have Sentinal back, especially in this seemingly never ending war against the Children of Nephilim, the Silver Baron doesn't back down from nobody
I know, I know. A lot of you are thinking I was unfortunate to get stuck in the ring with Sentinal this week, to kick off the roster wide points tournament, of the road to Tragic Engagement. You all will want to rethink that notion. It's not I who had the unfortunate luck of being facing off against Sentinal. Matter of fact, for all his experience, for all his vast wisdom he might hold, He may very will be the unlucky one.
Oh yeah, I said that.
The Silver Baron chuckled for a second, before taking another puff from his cigar.
Silver Baron: But don't get me wrong, I don't say that lightly. See as I said before, I respect the fuck out of Sentinal. He's somebody who does not need to speak to get his point across. And even then, if something needs to be said, the lovely Talon does so for him, as she so tried to point out a few more things for me for this week's main event.
Talon. She talks a big game for you eh Sentinal. But that's good. She has confidence in her man. But please girl, just remember that Sentinal isn't the only one who's wanting that Tragic Engagement main event, where a new champion will be crowned. Everyone else does as well, and although I may not be the most talked about, most featured person in UWA...unfortunately...I certainly am the one you should watch out for.
But guys. I hear you talk about how I have a massive ego. Well fucken DUH! I have a massive ego, because I have that confidence in myself. Those who don't are the ones who will fail. So basically, when you said that about me Talon, you also were talking about Sentinal. But you guys and I know that ego isn't exactly arrogance, if you can back it up. You want the poster child for arrogance, go look at Kyle Travis. He's the ultimate example of not being able to cash the cheque that his mouth wrote. Arrogance incarnate basically.
But you Sentinal. No, you are like me. You walk and breath confidence. Which is why I respect you, and which is why Mayhem's main event is going to be one to remember.
But see, while you two may think that by me saying I respect you, and that I know I'm in for a challenge is an underdog way of thinking, along with me oozing the confidence in myself, can be confusing, then you're just not looking at the big picture.
At this point, it almost looked like the Silver Baron was bouncing in anticipation for his upcoming match. He took a second to calm himself down, and take another drag.
Silver Baron: The big picture is, I know what I'm up against, and it has lit this feeling up within me. This drive, this...excitement, and not just because you're hot Talon, though that might be part of it. This feeling, that's making me look forward to facing you, is because I know that the destroyer part ain't just a name. If you had been around last few months, things would be looking alot better, of that I am certain.
Yet here you two think that my words were just hype. Okay, I get that. I really do. I do come off as that sometimes. But if you think that's all I can do about myself, then that's where you two don't see the big picture. Perhaps that confidence in the big man is clouding your vision. Fact of the matter is, I worked hard to get to where I am at now, and I will continue to work hard, not only to run the best damn escort business, and soon to be porn business, but also in that ring. I worked to damn fucken hard, to let some big returning guy, who was fucken gone for six months because he felt he couldn't be without his fucken mouthpiece, to come over and trample me!
The Silver Baron's expression on his face suddenly changed to a more stern, hardened look. The overall mood had changed with it, as now, we could see that the Silver Baron also had a bit of an issue with his opponent.
Silver Baron: As much as I do respect you Sentinal for what you are capable of doing, I don't see why you couldn't have continued to dominate in UWA while Talon was injured. I get the dedication, but this isn't something you can just put on pause while your mate is recovering from something! Had she been dying, then I get it. Would you have stayed away for upwards of two years if you had knocked her up? I don't know, and I don't care.
Listen up, because I'm making things loud and clear. My point is, I refuse, to stand aside because somebody's returning, and he's a supposed big deal, and looks like he is. I have never once believed in backing down from any goddamn thing. Not from giants, devils, bitches, jackasses, delusional fools, and hell...not even from myself!
While I might be dressed up in fine clothes, and silk robes, and get many people laid, there has been something inside of me since the moment I took my first breath. It's not Oblivion, he's only my curse. No. The thing that's been inside of me since birth, is a heart of a warrior.
I'm positive management knows this. They know this, and they want to take advantage of this, for the main event. That's the big picture. They want your return to be against somebody who will pose a challenge for you. Who won't let you get an easy win. You'll have use every goddamn thing in your arsenal if you want to overcome me, and even then, it's not a guarantee. If management wanted you to have an easy victory, they would have fed you someone like Amy Zing, Bob Brooks, or Kyle Travis, just to name a few.
The Silver Baron took one last drag of his cigar, before butting it out, saving the rest of it for later. He still maintained that more focused look, which now had a bit of a snarl to it.
Silver Baron: As I said before, do not fucken write me off! It sounds as if you already have, and that my friends, is a fatal mistake. Because unlike anyone else who has 'warned' their opponents of doing that, I make sure they eat their words.
So the time has come now, to see who shall take the victory. The titan that thinks he can reclaim his spot, or the warrior, who has more then earned a top spot? You're going to be in for one of the hardest fought matches in your career, without it being to personal, and I will make sure that you fall. As much as I respect you, I have to put you in your place, beneath my spot. While you're down there, how's about you shine my shoes!
The Silver Baron began to smirk again. He even chuckled for a second. He quickly got up, and shutoff the camera, ending the shoot.
Female voice: Excuse me m...sir?
The Silver Baron turned around, having recognized the timid voice. He smiled, seeing Sin there. As the club wasn't open for business yet, she was in regular street clothes.
