{Coming to America}
The cool wind blows in from the ocean on the east coast. Pauly, never being to America before, was towards the front of the boat looking towards the coast. He takes a deep breath and then pulls out his phone and makes a call. He waits for someone on the other end to answer.
"Aye. Took ye long 'nough. Wha's tha hold up?"
"Just getting ready to dock the ship. Still got a few things I need to handle before I come ta Vegas."
She laughed lightly.
"Yer destination point has changed, lad. Head tae Rochester Minnesota. Yer first bookin' is on Monday Night. I'll text ye tha address an' other info."
Pauly has a confused look on his face.
"What ye mean? Da said the guns go to Boston. As I was trying tae say, let whoever is in charge at yer little wrestling place, I want in. Got tae protect me friend and watch yer back girl."
She laughed again,
"Aye, I've already talked tae tha owner, Oliver, an' tha recruitin' department. Yer first gig is on Monday Night. Rochester Minnesota. I figured ye'd wanna stay. So, I took tha liberty o' talkin' to tha owner. Yer already in, Pauly."
Pauly smiles as the boat finally docks and his men begin to unload the cargo onto a truck.
"Aye, ye a great friend Aerynn. Glad ye talked tae them folk already. Let me make sure tha precious cargo gets ta Boston and I be on me way lad. Thanks again Aerynn."
"Mmm. Jus' make sure i's all kosher wit' tha ole' man. I dinna want a phone call in tha middle o' tha night 'cause yer Da dinna know ye decided tae stay."
She smiled.
"An' yer welcome, Pauly. It's whot family's for."
"One sec Aerynn."
Pauly takes his attention away from the phone and turns towards the lads loading the trucks.
"Case of the glocks and a case of ammo goes in me personal car lads."
The men follow his orders as he now turns his attention back towards Aerynn, who is patiently waiting for his return.
"Don't ye remember what I told ye tha other day girl?"
She listened patiently as he gave the men orders and shook her head to herself.
"Aye, I remember, Pauly. An' I know. Uncle Philip wants ye here. I'm just no' sure he realizes whot I'm doin' right now."
Small pause.
"An' Pauly, if ye tell him.. I'll string ye up by yer ankles an' call Lizbeth Doyle an' tell her ye changed yer mind an' ye wan' tae get married. Hear me?"
"No reason tae go there girl. And come on, ye really think I'd blow yer spot up to me da? He hated it as well. Tae his knowledge, I'll be here strictly for our other business. And when he ask why I'm all over? We tell tha old man we are looking tae expand."
Well well well, her little "brother" was all grown up. She was impressed.
"Ye've really thought this through. I'm impressed. Aight boy'o. Meet me in Rochester. I'll text you tha information fer tha hotel an' ye'll need tae get ahold o' Samual. I'll send his info as well."
Pauly smiles as he seems to have done something right. He finishes loading his car before getting in and starting it up.
"Aye, I have. Needed a good reason fer flyin' all over America. And see ya soon. Don't ferget tae send me tha info. I'll be callin Sammy boy once we get off tha phone. Need tae at least know something on tha person I'll be facing aye? Can't go in blind."
"Aye. True 'nough. I'll send it now."
Small pause before she hung up.
"An' Pauly.. Dinna call him Sammy. He hates tha'."
She finally hung up and about five minutes later, he started recieving a flurry of texts. Hotel info. Booking info. Samual's number. Anything she felt he might need in regards to the show.
"Atta girl."
{Business as usual}
Pauly arrives off the beaten path in Boston. He drives for several minutes down a dirt road as the truck loaded with guns is not far behind. He looks back in his messages and pulls out Samuels phone number and dials.
"Samuel Johnson speaking."
"Aye, this is Pauly O'Connor. Aerynn told ye I'd be in touch."
"Yes she did Mr. O'Connor. Glad to finally speak to you. Now Aerynn expressed interest in getting you booked right away. Was she correct?"
Pauly stays by his car as the guys begin to unload the shipment into the warehouse.
"Aye."
"Now have you ever wrestled before Mr. O'Connor?"
"Well not really tae be honest Mr. Johnson."
There is a slight pause before Samuel responds.
"So what made you want to give it a shot?"
"Always loved tae fight lad. Me and Aerynn trained together back in Ireland."
"If you didn't wrestle, what were you guys training for?"
"Ya see since rasslin' isn't big in Ireland, we fought. Like some fight club stuff. So this Irish Lad loves tae fight."
"Well than a fight is what you shall receive. Your first match is against a man by the name of Sentinel. I'll send you his bio, if you'd like?"
"Aye. Thanks Mr. Johnson. Again, thanks for this opportunity."
"Glad to have you aboard Mr. O'Connor. I'll be seeing you soon."
"Aye."
Pauly hangs up the phone and makes sure everything is packed away tightly in the warehouse. Everything checks out as his phone begins to ring again. This time an email from Samuel Johnson. Subject, Sentinel.
{New Adventures}
Pauly has finally arrived at the Hotel Aerynn has set up for him. He exits the cab and sees mountains of snow all over the place. He was not prepared for this as he was only in a simple pair of blue jeans and a zip up hoodie.
"Damn this be some wicked weather."
Pauly grabs his bag and hands the driver some money for the ride. He shivers as he quickly enters the hotel and walks over to the front desk.
"Welcome. How can I help you sir?"
"My lad reserved a room for me."
Pauly pulls a piece of paper from his bag and hands it to the lady.
"Ok. Yeah your friend called earlier today. Your Mr. O'Connor?"
"Aye, but please, names Pauly."
The lady checks the computer and hands him a room key.
"Take the hall all the way down and make a left. Your room is the third door down on the right hand side. Enjoy your stay Mr......I mean Pauly."
"Thank ya sweetie."
Pauly does as the lady said and walks down the hall. He makes it to his room and the is an envelope taped to his door.
"Good job Aerynn."
Pauly takes the envelope down and enters the room. He plops on the bed and goes to open the envelope as his phone buzzes in his pocket. He opens it to see a email with a link attached to it. He looks back at the envelope then turns his attention back to the phone.
"Silent Destruction? Wonder what this is?"
Pauly takes a few minutes to watch the video sent to him then sits up as he ponders the words he just heard.
"Aye, this is what I am in for? A man who has others speak for him? Tha hell is this shite? I mean it's a cool gimmick and all but ta hide behind others words?
Sure actions always speak louder than words, so maybe ya have yer reasons.
Than yer buddy or whatever he is ta ya goes and opens his mouth. Trying ta scare me by telling me of the destruction ya have and can rain down upon me.
He tells me takes of what ya did ta so called unbeatable champions. Of what ya did ta people who try and run.
Ya see I have never done this whole rasslin' thing before, but I always love a good ole fashion fight. And by yer size I can tell no rasslin' will be involved when we get in that ring. I can tell I won't be able to drag ya around tha ring.
I sure am in for one hellava fight, and a hellava fight is something this laddie loves.
So Mr. Blood, I will not run like those tag champions ya spoke off. I will fight. It's what we Irish Lads like ta do.
It is was we was born ta do.
Now ya maybe right about tha damage that will be thrown my way, but know this laddie, Pauly O'Connor won't stop. Sure your saying it will be a mistake if I stay and fight, but it is what I love ta do. So I will be looking forward ta this match up.
A monster against Tha Fighting Irish. Gunna be a good one. Don't ya agree?
Glad this is the way I get ta start things. This is how I was raised, ta fight. So that is what your silent partner will get. Win or lose he will see that this Irishman is all about business. See ya soon laddie."
The scene fades to black as Pauly lays down to get some rest before his professional wrestling debut just days away
