“It’s funny how fast you can be in this business and gain rivals.”
J-Shades sat in the middle of an empty living room, save for a sofa and some unopened brown moving boxes, one of which he was sitting on. He has his black aviator sunglasses on, though it was night time and the room was very dimly lit.
“We’ve both only been here for a few months, Skylar, but I can already tell that as long as we’re both still wrestling here we’ll be wrestling each other. Maybe even one day, we’ll be wrestling for the World Heavyweight Championship. Can you see it Sky? You and me, on the top of the Marquee! The Main event! Everyone coming out just to see us! I mean, we’ve already just about been there. The first match for the Television Champion! You and I, and Bob Brooks and Amy Zing, we made history! Am I made about losing? Oh no! Aside from making history, I also learned something that night. So really have to thank you Skylar, and Amy Zing, and even you Bob Brooks. You each taught me something very valuable at Raising Hell.
J-Shades got closer to the camera and whispered with his ever present smirk on his face, “I‘m better then you! I‘m better than all of you! Yes, I lost that fatal Four Way, but those matches are crazy and unstable. It isn‘t a “may the best man win” type of match. That match was based on luck and seizing opportunities. So congratulations, Amy! You did what any of the four of us could’ve done. You just happened to be able to get the pin when no one else was able to stop you. I applaud you. But fact of the matter is, I can beat you. I felt it when I was in that ring, if it was a one on one match I‘d be wrestling circles around you, Amy. And I‘d wrestle circles around Bob Brooks, too! And next Monday, Skylar Hanson, I will wrestle circles around you. No distractions. No one to hide behind. And no one blame but me. Just remember, when you‘re staring up at the ceiling of the arena after I beat you, that this isn‘t it. I know there will be many wins and championships and success for you in the future. But come Monday, you‘ll just be another obstacle for me to brush off to get to what I really want.”
