Fraser Freeman and Vince Jones put it all on the line at Raising Hell. They gave it their all, and when the dust settled and the ambulance doors slammed shut it was Vince Jones who was the victor and Fraser Freeman who was in need of a visit to the emergency room. However this war had taken its toll on Freeman, and true to his word he gave his all, but it wasnt enough.
See shortly after being bundled into the ambulance, and the door swung shut, a beaten and broken Freeman lost conciousness entirely. His heart stopped and the paramedics rushed around in the back of the ambulance, giving cpr. As the paramedics used the defilulator for the third time there was a beep, Freemans heart began to beat once more. But he wasnt waking up, no Freeman had slipped into a coma.
It is now 1am the morning after the night before.
We are in the hospital room of Fraser Freeman. The man laying in a hospital bed clinging on to what life is left in his body is a far cry from the man that arrived UWA. Will he ever be the same when he wakes up? or will the war with Vince Jones have changed him forever? Will he ever compete again? hell at this point its not even clear if he will wake up!
Wires everywhere from machine surrounding Freeman, hooking up to the machines that are aiding his life to continue.
His girlfriend Jade is sat in a leather chair at the bottom of the bed asleep with a blanket pulled over her. She has not left his side since he arrived and is refusing to go home. In through the door walks Quentin Sharpe, one of Freemans closest and longest friends. Sharpe looks up to Freeman, the man is his mentor, he has taught him so much both in the security industry and in times gone by in the wrestling industry.
Sharpe walks slowly over to Freeman and takes a deep breath as he looks at his friend hooked up to machines. Sharpe knows the war was only going to end one of two ways and he lets out a huge sigh as he wishes it had ended the other way. He stands looking wishing it had been Kershawn Jones stood in his shoes and as he turns and heads towards Jade, he wishes it was Kershawn walking over to console Jasmine. Sharpe knows this scene was allways destined for one of the two men in the war, but how he wishes it was Vince laying in the hospital bed and not his good friend Fraser.
Sharpe goes down on his haunches and squats infront of Jade and lightly taps on her leg, Jade begins to wake and when she see's Sharpe infront of her reaches out and hugs him still half asleep as Sharpe begins to speak gently into her ear.
Sharpe: I can stay here tonight Jade. Why dont you go home and get some sleep and come back in the morning.
Jade: No, im not leaving, you can stay with me but im not leaving!
Sharpe takes a deep breath and nods, aknowledging that he knows she wont leave her mans side. In honesty he fully understands, in fact he just hopes if he ever ends up in this situation that he has someone like Jade by his side.
Sharpe stands up and walks out into the hallway. Coming back through the door carying a chair that he places next to Jades and its down. The scene fades out as Sharpe and Jade sit by Freemans bedside awaiting any progress, it could be a long journey for the pair. Will Freeman wake? will he ever be the same if he does? i guess only time can tell us the answers to these questions.
