::When the camera opened it was dark, but that was usual for the man that aired this video. The camera showed a single street light and beneath it stood the form of Joshua McBride. He stood in perfect stillness with his head down and his face masked by the wealth of black hair. His thick body standing almost statue like.
Joshua was dressed in a solid red suit with a black tie, black cuff links and his hair now was dyed with red streaks, like strips of fire running down his smirking face.
From behind him walked the form of his beautiful priestess Maiko and the their twin boys Ananiel and Ramiel. Maiko was dressed in a beautiful white gown that looked almost like a night dress and black boots. On each side of her were dressed the twin brothers. One in blue with a red tie, like the father and one in a black suit with a white tie, like the mother.
From somewhere in the distance came the faintest little hints of what sounded like a violin, but instead of what was played by Jayni Sullivan, this one was darker and more sinister. Almost depressed in it's gentleness. There was no beauty in this. Only sorrow and regret.
As the Violin played Maiko stepped forward and lifted her head toward the heavens and sang in a gentle voice.::
Maiko: “The ship it swayed on the dark and stormy blue. And I helped tight to the woman's might. You haven't slept, she said, in many suns and moons.”
::Now it was Joshua's turn he lifted his face beneath the wealth of hair and his voice joined her own. His was darker, more sinister and filled with mocking delight.::
Joshua: “Oh, I will sleep when we finish this. And pray we get there soon.....”
::As the two sang in unison a second feed opened. Sitting side by side with the two of them. It also showed the four of them standing there but suddenly one of the feeds turned and found a motel standing across from where the group stood. The man, or woman, who held the camera came across the street closer to the motel and when it got close enough to see into one of the rooms the camera was treated to a sight of Broderick Montgomery and Jayni Sullivan.
The two seemed to be sitting and talking. Broderick was dressed in only a pair of blue jeans and was bare chested, but even through the stubble it was clear it was him. Jayni sat in a chair near the door with her legs crossed at the knee. Then Jayni reached out her hand and held out a single glass with brown liquid in it.::
Maiko & Joshua: “She said now hush love, Here's your drink. There's the bed. Lights down. But I don't want to go to sleep. In all my dreams I drowned.”
::Brody was shown to take the glass and take a deep drink and then settled into bed. Jayni rose from the chair and came to the bed to sit down on the edge and reached out a hand to sooth the stray hair from his forehead. Brody reached up, his hand inching toward the fiery red haired woman.::
Joshua: “The woman howled, and tied me up with sheets.”
::Jayni took the wrist he was listing and laid it on the bed next to him and leaned in until her face was inches from his own, next to his face. The sight was....innocent and yet erotic.::
Maiko and Joshua: “A storm is brewing in the south.....”
::As Jayni leaned over him she seemed to say something softly into his ear and then pulled back to move back to the chair.::
Maiko: “It's time....you go to sleep.”
Maiko and Joshua: “The birth it rocked, the ocean gnashed and moaned. Like Jonah we'll be swallowed whole and spat back teeth and bones. She said, now hush love, here's your drink. There's the bed. Lights down.”
Maiko: “But I don't want to go to sleep.....”
::They watched on as Broderick lifted himself from the bed and looked over at Jayni. Avoiding this with every fiber of his being it seems.::
Joshua: “....In all my dreams I drowned.”
::Broderick seemed to be pleading with the woman. Trying to avoid this most basic of needs. This most basic of animal requirements.::
Joshua: “I will do your chores! I will warm your bed at night and clean your homes floors. Scold me! Hold me! I'll be yours to keep. The only thing I beg of you.....don't make me go to sleep!”
::The camera watched on as Jayni got up then and crossed the room to where Broderick sat on the bed and gently placed her hand gently on his chest and pushed gently until his back hit the bed. Jayni then stood and moved to the window and closed the curtain but the lights inside showed her silhouette. The Silhouette showed her move back to the bed. It showed her lean down. To lay next to him and keep him company perhaps.::
Maiko and Joshua: “The skies they flashed, his pillow toed to the brink.”
Maiko: “The curtains ran between my legs as we.....”
Maiko and Joshua: “....Began to sink. I close my eyes, as the ship was rent and felled.”
::The camera turned back to face the two standing beneath that street light and Maiko had her own face next to Joshua's and her back was arched, as if in pleasure. His lips closed to the flesh of her throat. A play, perhaps.::
Joshua and Maiko: “Eddies in the water headed to the mouth....of hell.”
::Maiko suddenly broke away and walked toward the camera as she whispered softly, mockingly her eyes not on the camera, but on the room and whatever was happening inside.::
Maiko: “Hush now, hush love. Here's your drink, there's the bed. Lights down.”
Joshua: “I'm begging you please wake me up.....in all my dreams I.....”
::Joshua lifts his head then and lets out another loud and cruel laugh that echoes through the night and the camera fades. The message was simple enough. Broderick Montgomery may be back, but he wasn't stable. He wasn't whole. He was terrified, and conflicted. He was....broken.::
