>>> 20 July 2014 – Tempe, AZ <<<
It had been a week since Monday Night Mayhem in Tuscon. The show where Logan had been taken and Aerynn... snapped.
Upon hearing the words that Jamie Hensley said, something in her head just.. broke. And afterwards, Arsenal coming down the ramp to drag Aerynn away from the ring. Only for the entire group to just implode on each other.
That is, until Samuel stepped in. Samuel had been angry. Livid, in fact. He had ordered the girls to mend their fences. And, in doing such, had given them tickets to a performance at a small place in Tempe, the city of their next show.
As Aerynn was getting dressed, her phone chimed with a new text message. She moved over to pick it up and look at it. As she read over the message something went cold inside of her.
Text: “I can't do this anymore, Aerynn. I love you. I do. But after Monday night.. I'm done.”
Aerynn sat on the edge of the bed just staring at the phone in her hand. She sat there for a good thirty minutes just reading and rereading the text message. It had been from Logan.
Aerynn finally stood up from the edge of the bed and finished getting ready.
Thirty more minutes later, she was climbing off her bike and heading over to meet the ladies of Arsenal.. Jezsika, Bethany, Ashley and Nikki.
When the girls arrived at the address they found what could only be called a little hole in the wall night club. Hardly any people. No parking to really speak of. But, you know what they said about appearances being deceiving. When they walked inside, the place was beautiful. Tables filled all around. A long bar lying across the wall on the right side. A stage sat against the far wall with curtains on either side.
There were people dressed anywhere from county, to rock, to goth all around them as they entered the little bar/club. A beautiful red head was sitting alone at the bar, a man in what appeared to be a low rent business suit sitting near the stage and a man in a leather jacket with his hood up near the far end of the building near the edge of the curtain. As they stepped into the building a large Hispanic man held his hand up.
Door Man: "Sorry ladies, private mic night tonight. You got tickets?"
Jeszika pulls her ticket out of her pocket and hands it over.
Jeszika: "I have mine"
Nikki, Ashley and Bethany each present one as well.
And Aerynn was the last to present hers.
Door Man: "Ah! Good good!"
The large man took the tickets and opened a hand for them to enter behind him.
Door Man: "...Drinks are on the house tonight, and Jayni and Michael Sullivan are gonna be preforming last. Enjoy your night!"
Jeszika: “That's the plan.”
As they walk inside, Ashley leans over.
Ashley: “Are we supposed to know who that is?”
Jeszika: “The performers? Maybe... but I don't, do you guys?”
Aerynn kept quiet this whole time. Even more quiet than usual. Once the man at the door gave entry to them, she headed inside behind the rest. She didn't wear anything fancy, just a pair of jeans, boots and a hoodie. The hood of said hoodie was pulled up over her blonde hair and her hands were tucked into the pockets.
Nikki: “From the looks on everyone's faces I'd say, no... and I'd say Aerynn doesn't care even if she does know.”
Jeszika: “And me... I just wanna go get a drink. Anyone else want? My shout.”
Ashley: “Whatever whiskey they got..”
Jeszika: “Anyone else?”
Bethany: “Are you sure that's a good idea? As nice as this place is...”
Ashley: “I'll drink if i want to, thanks!”
Jeszika: “Worried you'll catch someone off the glasses B?”
Bethany: “No, I just...”
Aerynn: "Jameson whiskey."
Her voice was low.
Jeszika inclines her head to her. Acknowledging her order.
Jeszika: “B? Nik? You guys too?”
Bethany: “I'm OK for now.”
Nikki nods.
Nikki: “Me too.”
Ashley: “Oh, so now you're too good to drink with us too?”
Jeszika: “I don’t think that’s what they meant Ash...”
Nikki: “No, she's right, beer.”
Bethany: “OK.”
Jeszika: “What will you have, B?”
Bethany: “Beer.”
Jeszika: “I'll be back soon then.”
She starts heading over to the bar.
For the most part the people in the small club ignored the group of girls as they all entered together. When the platinum blond moved to the bar to get a drink a woman with short blondish red hair smiled warmly from her group near the stage. With her were three men, one of whom seemed to be heavily intoxicated. Near the opposite side of the stage the man in the leather jacket and hood lifted his hand and put it on his face in the darkness of the hood and turned his back to the group and kicked his feet up.
Aerynn moved off to find a table. Sadly the only one open was one in the middle of the place. She slid up onto one of the stools and planted her forearms onto the table top and waited. She let out a sigh as she got comfortable.
A hand lifted up to swipe at her face as she closed her eyes a moment and then looked up to the stage. Did she care? Not really overly much. But Samuel had a point, they needed this.. Didn't they?
Ashley shakes her head.
Ashley: “Man... What are we doing in this fuckin' place?”
Bethany sighs.
Bethany: “Samuel probably figured if we went to the type of place we normally go, there would violence involved.”
Ashley: “Samuel's not as dumb as he looks...”
The woman with the short blondish red hair looked over and caught the faintest little nod and approached the woman at the bar with a huge smile on her face.
Woman: "Are you Jeszika Gautier?"
Jeszika pauses and frowns.
Jeszika: “Guilty. Who's asking?”
Woman: "No one special. I am Jayni Sullivan. Huge fan is all. Are those the Kenyon Sisters and Aerynn Donnelly with you?"
Jeszika nods.
Jeszika: “It is. I take it you're a fan of UWA then?”
Woman: "No, not really. Thanks Jez."
The woman simply turned and walked back to her group, and she leaned over and began to whisper something to one of the two who were....you know, intoxicated and he began to scribble onto a napkin with a open.
Aerynn pulled her cell phone out once again and reread the message she'd gotten from Logan. Her jaw clenched tightly as she tucked it back into the pocket of her hoodie.
Aerynn: "Nae, he's no'."
She said to Ashley.
Jeszika frowns as she watches her leave, and shakes her head.
Bethany: “So..”
The man standing with the woman with short blondish red hair pulled out his phone and simply sent a text. By some sheer coincidence, the man in the leather jacket popped his phone open and looked down at the screen. He was to much in the dark to make out anything but the faintest nod of the hood and then re-closed the phone.
Jeszika grabs the tray with their drinks on and begins her walk to the table.
Jeszika: “So, we have a Jamesons for Aerynn, a beer for Nik and B, and whiskey for me and Ash.”
She says as she places a drink in front of each girl before taking her own seat.
Nikki: “Who was that talking to you, Jez?”
Jeszika shrugs
Jeszika: “Just a fan. No one special. Her name was Jayni.”
Bethany: “Like... as in the chick they said was playing here tonight?”
Aerynn looked up from where she had been staring down at the table and looked at each one of them. Now that they were all at the same table.
Aerynn: "I wanted tae thank ye.. All o' ye.. Fer nae lettin' tha children kill me."
She looked down at her hands again. She wasn't having the best week. But still needed to be said.
Jeszika: “I suppose it was, B.”
She looks over at Aerynn and smiles.
Jeszika: “Was the least we could do. Thank you also, without you we wouldn’t have survived as long as we have either. You're the one who's done the most work here.”
Bethany: “Aerynn, has something more... happened?”
She looked to Jezsika and nodded. But then at Bethany's question... She stopped. Looking at her hands once again...
Aerynn: "Logan's gone."
Bethany: “WHAT?”
Jeszika: “Gone? Like taken?”
Aerynn shook her head.
Aerynn: "Nae. No' taken."
Jeszika lowers her head
Jeszika: “He left you? Because of what happened last week?”
All Aerynn did was nod in confirmation. Only to reach out and drag that shot of whiskey to her and downed it all too quickly.
As the girls talked their seemed to be a commotion in the corner of the little club, near the bar side of the stage. The woman they knew as "Jayni" seemed to be having a heated argument with the man who has been intoxicated. The man seemed to yell something that sounded like...
Man: "FINE! Think you can do this without me....go ahead!"
And then stormed out.
Bethany: “Oh my God…”
Ashley sneers.
Ashley: “Like you care…”
Bethany nods, finally seeming sure of herself again.
Bethany: “OK, let’s just put it all on the table now. Yes, I lied to you about Mama. She was dying and I could have helped her but she wouldn’t let me and she and Daddy decided it would be best to just tell you nothing could be done. They were trying to protect both of us and I hated them for it. I didn’t tell you because I didn’t want to admit I hated Mama for not letting me fight for her or that I hated myself for not doing it anyway. Now, anybody else got something they wanna hash out, let’s go...”
Jeszika: “Fine, I'll go. Look guys, I know I'm not perfect and I know playing Brody how I did was a mistake, a mistake I regret daily. And Aerynn, when I first met you, I hated you so damn much, hated Brody too. But I try my best to do what I think is right, and you must understand that with what I did to Brody I was only trying to help him see the error of his ways. Help him see what he had done to so many girls in the past. I never meant for the 2 of us to actually fall in love like we did. I never meant for it to be as bad as it was. I'm sorry for the pain that I've caused to all of you over this.”
Aerynn called over to a waitress and ordered a whole bottle of Jameson. When it was brought back to the table, Aerynn refilled her shot glass and looked to Jezsika.
She pointed the rim of the glass towards Bethany and Ashley.
Aerynn: "Their problems are jus' tha'.. Theirs. They need tae figure this out 'tween them."
She looked back to Jezsika.
Aerynn: "As fer me an' ye.. I dinna care tha' ye dinna like me. At tha time, I was doin' me job. But yer no' tha only one tha' was tryin' tae help Brody see whot he was doin' wrong, Jezsika. We both were. Only.. Ye did it in a way tha' destroyed tha man.."
She downed the shot and set the glass back on the table.
Aerynn: "Ye wanna know whot really pissed me off at ye, Jezsika? Since we are layin' it all out..."
Jeszika nods
Jeszika: “Lay it on me, I need to hear this...”
She refilled her glass again and down another shot. Eyes raising up to look at the woman.
Aerynn: "I dinna care whot ye do in yer personal life. Ye wanna love Melissa, we're all happy fer ye. But ye could've done it a bit less publicly. Did ye really think Joshua wasna gonna use tha' tae torture Brody? Ye gave him ammunition."
She refilled the glass and downed yet another shot.
Aerynn: "We're at war, Jezsika.. An' ye handed tha enemy a gun."
Jeszika looks down, guilt written all over her face. She closes her eyes and sighs before she speaks.
Jeszika: “I know I did, and its a decision I am regretting every day...”
Bethany: "Can any of us say we haven't walked right into one of his traps?"
Ashley cocks her head.
Ashley: “One?”
Bethany nods slowly, acknowledging it’s been way more than one for her. This seems to disarm Ashley.
Ashley: “You’re right… I’m sorry...”
Jeszika: “We've let them do this to us... I know you're pride will deny it, but we have all provided ammunition, some more than others.”
Guilt crosses her face as she says this.
Jeszika: “I don't know how we can make this right, but I intend to fight and try and at least repair some of the mess...”
As the girls aired their grievances the man in the hood was sending text messages to one of the only two men left with the little blondish red head. It was about then that the woman climbed onto the stage. She was wearing a long cream colored dressed that hit to mid thigh in the front and ankles in the back showing off slender legs and calf high boots. She gently tapped the mic and it let out a faint static through out the building.
Jeszika nods toward the stage
Jeszika: “Seems the show is finally starting.”
Jayni: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Firelight! I am afraid there has been a change of plan.....Travis will not be preforming with us tonight. So it will be an acoustic set."
Bethany: “So Logan’s gone, Carrie’s hurt, Melissa’s captured… have you found Billy yet?”
Ashley shakes her head.
Ashley: “No.”
Jeszika: “An acoustic set... great... I need another drink now...”
She gets up from the table.
Jeszika: “Anyone else need a fresh drink?”
Aerynn was about six or seven shots in and shook her head when she glanced over to Jezsika. Shaking her head, she glanced back to Ashley.
Aerynn: "Yer guy's missin', also?"
Ashley: “Yes. I've tried calling all his usual haunts and dealers... nothing.”
Jayni's brother, Michael, took one final text message and then covered the mic and whispered to her. Her eyes widened with shock and she looked over at where the man in the leather outfit was sitting and he was gone, climbed up onto the stage and shifted behind the curtain.
Jayni: "For all of our regulars....clap to the lights please!"
She glanced up to the stage at the mention of the set being acoustic.
Aerynn: "Hmm."
Then looked back to Ashley. Nodding lightly, she frowned and as the music started, she fell into silence. Spinning the shot glass a few times before taking another drink.
Jeszika leaves the table and goes to buy a round a 8 shots. Acoustic music bought back memories, and the last thing she wanted to do was cry right now. She knocks back 2 at the bar. She takes a deep breath before picking up the remaining shots and coming back to the table.
Michael went to the guitar and picked it up as Jayni moved away from the microphone and opened the box for....was that a damn violin?
What began was a beautiful mixture of the two stringed instruments. As they began to play the lights above the stage flashed, every two seconds and the crowd clapped along. Soft, and in perfect sync the two played.
Aerynn knocked back one more and looked around at the gathered women. She watched as Jezsika went up to the bar and then came back.
Aerynn: "We're a Motley Crew aren't we?"
She said that more to herself than to the others. But it still rang true none the less.
Once the music started, she shifted her attention up to the stage and just listened.
Bethany nods.
Bethany: “I’m afraid Carrie’s gonna leave me too.”
Ashley can’t believe her ears.
Ashley: “What?”
Bethany nods.
Bethany: “Her head...”
Jeszika: “I'm afraid if we ever get Melissa back... She will to. I shafted her for months to sleep with a man while she waited at home. I'm afraid this may all be too much for her now... She’s there cause of me...”
She knocks back a shot.
Jeszika: “I just want this all to be over. All I can wish for is some kind of do over but I know those type of things don't exist. I wish it hadn’t got this bad. For Logan, for Melissa. For Carrie, for Billy. For Brody and for us all...”
The woman called Jayni kept stealing glances at the side of the stage no one could see her eyes widened with disbelief as she played. Her brother seemed to be in the same state of shock. At about 25 seconds in their set was interrupted by a male voice. Gruff but low and gentle, almost hesitant.
Male Voice: "When everything has turned to black....you don't know where to go. You need something to justify your soul. Silences are broken. Confidence is gone. When everything your holding onto falls."
Bethany: “I'll admit... I don't know what to do...”
Jeszika looks up as the male voice starts singing... It almost sounds like... No, it couldn’t be. She shakes her head and downs another shot. Her memories were kicking up again, she was now hallucinating... Great...
Aerynn leaned back a bit and glanced at Bethany.
Aerynn: "Ye wake up. Ye put yer pants on one day at a time.. Ye do e'erythin' ye been doin'."
That's what she'd have to learn how to do now. It was odd how the words the guy sang were so very close to home right now.
Jeszika: “Will it be that easy? To just go on living like that when your reason for living is gone?”
Jayni and her brother continue to look off to the left in disbelief. The blondish red head seemed to have a couple of tears rolling down her face as she continued to play in tune with her brother and the crowd clapped with each flash of the light.
Male Voice: "All the people selling truths on every corner now. They wait until the fear has knocked you down. All the rules are changing now. your living in sin....an everything around you is caving in.....and all your holding onto slipping like water through your hands....yes...."
Would the girls notice the emotion in the voice? The way the voice quivered on the nerve of breaking? That the woman with the violin was staring off to the left as she played, her face a mask of emotion, pain, disbelief and care.
Ashley: “Sounds like we all have to ask that question... cept Nik...”
Aerynn down yet another shot and lowered her head down. The whiskey was hitting her. And hard. She was really tying one on. She looked back to the stage and frowned a bit. She took a deep breath and wanted nothing more in that moment than to turn and walk out of the bar.
Except, this time, instead of the glass.. She simply grabbed the bottle and drank from it.
Jeszika: “Yeah I feel ya there...”
Jeszika says quietly, not really to Aerynn, Or the male singer either, but mostly to herself, before she knocks back her last 2 shots one after the other.
Ashley: “We're lucky this is all we can get here...”
Jeszika: “Agreed... God damn I could go for something stronger right now...”
She looks over at the stage, the music washing over her. The guys voice, the emotion in it, his words, it was all becoming too much for her.
Jeszika: “I... I need some air...”
She pushes up from her seat and begins for the door.
The man fell silent so Jayni stepped forward to the microphone stand and her voice joined the man's gentle and filled with emotion. Hitting a higher range then his own could.
Jayni: "And you sing....La La La La. La La La. La La La La La La La. Yea, you sing La La La La. La La La. La La La La La La La."
There was the faintest little hint of breathing into the mic as Jayni finished and went back to playing before the man's voice finished.
Male Voice: "Far off in the distance, somewhere you can't see. Allegiances have formed your destiny. Opposition all around, feeding off your soul.....trying hard to swallow up your hope....and the demons all around me waiting for me to sell my soul....."
Jayni: "And you sing....La La La La. La La La. La La La La La La La. Yea, you sing La La La La. La La La. La La La La La La La."
Jayni finished the song as the man's Mic suddenly staticed like it had been dropped, or even tossed. The song finished with her and her brother playing side by side along the gentle beat and Jayni softly singing "La La" until it ended.
Jeszika pauses by the door, hearing the words the man in singing. With one last look at the stage and her friends, she leaves the place. Once outside she leans against the wall outside, her breath catching with her unshed tears.
Nikki, Bethany and Ashley all stand up to go after Jeszika but Bethany pauses.
Bethany: “Aerynn... come on, let's go before we all do something we'll regret and he uses against us later.”
Aerynn glanced over as Jezsika got up and headed out. She shook her head slightly and tipped the bottle up once more. The drinks she was taking would be more like doubles than the single shots she had been taken.
She glanced back to the stage and shrugged before standing up and heading out.
Aerynn headed out of the bar and to her bike. Was she in any condition to drive? Probably not, but she needed to feel the freedom of the road.
>>> 22 July 2014 – Tempe, AZ – Coffee Shop <<<
It was a couple of days later. She'd really tied one on the night all of the ladies went to the bar. And the night after that, if truth be told. Only difference there was, she'd been alone in her hotel room. Now, she was sitting in some random coffee shop, sunglasses on and just huddled into herself.
Bethany Kenyon walks into the place and stops in her tracks by the door, momentarily just standing there for a second, wondering if this was a good idea after all. Steeling herself, she takes a deep breath and walks forward to the table Aerynn currently occupies.
Bethany: “Is this seat taken?”
Aerynn looked up and, with a finger, dipped her sunglasses down.
Aerynn: "Nae. Have a seat, Bethany."
She lifted up her cup of coffee and pushed the sunglasses back up.
Aerynn: "Whot brings ye here?"
Nodding, Bethany sits down across from the champion.
Bethany: “You look like I wish I did…”
Aerynn: "Things still bad wit' Carrie?"
Aerynn hadn't even tried to drunk text or call Logan since the text message that ended it all. So, she had someone go in, gather her belongings and put them in storage for her. Deciding to just live from hotel to hotel in the mean time.
Bethany nods.
Bethany: “She’s… using the term 'space'.”
Aerynn couldn't help but to smirk at that.
Aerynn: "Space. Tha' would've been easier tae handle than 'I can't do this anymore.'"
She was referring to Logan, of course.
Bethany: “I spose it is better than Ash just not knowing if she has one or not. So, do you… have a place to stay now? If not, you could always come stay in my guest room.”
Aerynn had to conceded that point. About Ashley, that is.
At the question of a place to stay, she couldn't help but to smirk slightly. Almost laugh, really.
Aerynn: "I hadna thought 'bout it really. Was jus' going tae go from hotel tae hotel fer tha shows. All o' my stuff is in storage in Lake Tahoe. Guess I'll be needin' tae figure out how tae get it back tae Vegas from there. Lia's in me old apartment with her new boyfriend."
She looked up and eyed Bethany a moment.
Aerynn: "Mind if I think it o'er? Take some time.. Tae adjust."
Bethany nods.
Bethany: “Sure... “
Pausing for a second, trying to decide how best to ask, Bethany swallows hard.
Bethany: “What do you wanna do when it comes to the Sin City Knights and the Children?”
Aerynn nodded at the agreement to give her time. But then Bethany went into asking about the Sin City Knights and the Children.
She thought for a few moments and frowned.
Aerynn: "We do whot we've always done, Bethany. We fight. An' we keep fightin' until tha very last person is standin'. An' I'll be damned if tha'll be Joshua McBride."
She looked up to Bethany with a twisted grin.
Aerynn: "As fer tha Sin City Knights..."
She shrugged lightly.
Aerynn: "We give them tha fight o' their lives. We let 'em know tha' we are where we are fer a reason. I dinna plan on holdin' back... Do ye?"
Bethany: “Can't say I am, no.”
Aerynn nodded again.
Aerynn: "Well, there ye go.. They willna give an inch. But we're gonna take a mile."
They sat there and talked a bit more. And then, Bethany hit her with something she was not expecting.
A cold burning hatred began to burn inside of her as she stood up from the table and just... left. Left Bethany sitting there. Either in shock.. Or in fear.
>>> 22 July 2014 – Tempe, AZ <<<
“Misogynist...”
The voice rang out of the darkness.
“Ye know, Baron...Yer boyo has a point.”
A light turns on somewhere in the darkness. And all anyone can see is that it's some kind of abandoned building. The room is in shambles. Broken down and and in absolute ruin.
In the light a figure stands. The light behind her shines like a halo. Only you can't see her face.
“Ye've been coastin'. Floatin' along tha easy river. Thing is, Baron.. Ye've nae faced a real opponent. Ye've ne'er had tae come face tae face wit' a true monster.
Ye think yer a villian? Whot wit' yer fancy lil diagnosis o' Multiple Personality Disorder? Ye stand in tha mirror an' ye see yer 'dark' side.
'R is it jus' tha fanciful wishes an' dreams o' a man who canna look himself in tha mirror 'cause he knows he's lookin' back at nothin' more than a half-rate hack tryin' tae skim his way tae tha top on tha backs o' others.
Ye see, Baron. I know ye. I know who ye are inside. Whot's goin' on in tha' brain o' yers.”
She tapped the side of her head with a finger.
“Ye've tha' lil voice in yer head screamin' tae be let out. Scratchin' at tha walls. Tap tap tappin' at tha door tae tha closet ye've locked it up in. It's wantin' tae claw it's way out o' tha' lil cage ye've put it in.
An' yer lettin' it. Yer feedin' it tha rage it needs.. Tha' it craves.. Yer makin' it stronger by givin' inta yer self-doubts.
Tell me, Baron. How many nights do ye wake up wit' tha' silent scream climbin' out o' yer throat? Because ye stop yerself from actually makin' tha sound tha'll make it reality. How many more night do ye think ye can drink tha darkness away? 'R snort it up yer nose? I mean, look at ye. Ye couldna face Stalker Knight wit'out lettin' tha' other side out.
An' ye expect Bethany an' I tae take ye seriously? Ye expect us tae.. whot? Fear ye? Run screamin' from tha room?”
She lowered her voice.
“But it's there, Baron. Jus' beneath tha skin.. Isn't it? An' there's no' a thing ye can do tae stop it. Ye feel it so deep inside. It's ingrained inta who ye are. Yer becomin' him. In yer descent, yer clutchin' an' grabbin' at tha only thing ye think keeps ye sane..
Tha monster inside.”
She leans towards the camera and smiles darkly.
“An' he's winnin'..”
She straightens up and cracks her neck with a few quick jerks of head from side to side.
“Ye say tha' I've lost all credibility wit' whot happened on tha last show. An' maybe yer right. Maybe I did. But aren't ye tha pot callin' tha kettle black.
An' then there's yer partner. Yer so damn paranoid tha' ye dinna.. canna see tha' at tha last show, he had yer back. He was there holdin' tha' monster at bay 'cause yer too god damned self righteous an' blind tae yer own surroundin's tae've seen tha' Vince Jones would do...
Exactly whot he did.
An' ye.. How did ye thank him? Ye accused him o' leavin' ye high an' dry. Ye accused him o' no' havin' yer back. O' no' bein' there when ye needed him..
Lemme ask ye this, Baron..
Where were ye when he needed ye? Where were ye when Vince Jones ran him down wit' a car? 'R came after him wit' a baseball bat?
Where were ye then?”
She lowered her head slightly and laughed. Her shoulders shaking were evidence of that.
“Some friend ye turned out tae be. I mean, look at whot all ye've done tae yer boy, there.
Instead o' congradulatin' an' supportin' him when he came tae ye 'bout his girl.. Ye put money 'bove yer friend. Ye put yer own wants an' desires 'bove tha' o' someone ye claim tae be a friend ta.
Who does tha'?
An' dinna get me started on how ye treat women.”
She lowered her voice to a whisper.
“Misogynist.”
She paused for a few moments. Wrapping her arms around her chest. Bringing fingers up to tap them against her chin.
“Freeman. I must say tha' 'tween ye an' Baron.. Yer tha smarter o' tha two. At least ye admit tae tha errors ye've made.
Ye admit tha' ye've sat there an' let Joshua McBride run ruff shod o'er tha whole o' U.W.A. At least ye own yer own fuck-ups an' ye place blame where it's meant tae be placed.
I give ye credit fer tha'. An'..
Ye've done yer homework. Ye get an A fer Effort there.
Howe'er, ye made one small mistake, Freeman.
Jus' like yer friend an' 'partner'.. Ye've been coastin'. Swimmin' up easy creek. An' fer whot?
Oh, in our first match-up, ye beat me fair an' dead tae rights. Ye had tha' match, Freeman.
This Monday Night willna be so easy.
Ye see.. Ye've embraced yer newfound calmness. An' I'm happy fer ye 'bout tha'. But me? I've started tae embrace me inner monster. An' I plan on unleashin' tha' monster on Joshua McBride.
But dinna think I've fergotten 'bout ye an' Baron.
See, ye an' Baron are jus' now getting' on tha same page. An' while tha ladies o' Arsenal an' I have had our differences an' problems.. We've been tha' well oiled machine fer quite a while now.
See, we did tha one thing tha' Joshua wasna expectin'..
We came taegether as a team. As partners. We've been tha only soldiers in tha war wit' Tha Children. While e'eryone else has been sittin' back in tha locker room wit' their thumbs stuck cleanly up their arses an' nae doin' a god damn thing 'bout it.
An' ye canna deny tha'. No' e'en a lil bit.
E'en at her worse.. I know I can trust Ashley Kenyon tae have me back. E'en while bein' told tae choose.. I know I can trust Jeszika Gautier tae come inta tha ring an' have me back should Tha Children try tae interfere. Same fer Nikki.
And Bethany? She's become me best friend.
See.. These ladies.. They're me friends. Me sisters-in-arms.
They're me sisters.
When e'eryone else stood idly by an' watched Joshua, an' his lil whore Priestess, gang up on me.. They were tha ones tha' put themselves on tha line an' came runnin' down tha' ramp.
Where tha fuck where all o' ye?”
She rolled her shoulders a little and then her head to loosen up her neck.
“Lemme jus' say this, gentlemen..
I know tha' on Monday Night Mayhem ye'll nae be givin' us an inch...
We will be takin' tha' mile.”
And the scene blinks out to darkness.
