Maria Zalis is standing outside the trainer’s room inside the Tucson Convention Center in Tucson, Arizona in the aftermath of the latest episode of Monday Night Mayhem.
Maria Zalis: “Ladies and gentlemen, this is Maria Zalis outside the trainer’s room where UWA ring announcer Jamie Hensley is undergoing an examination with the UWA medical staff after being attacked by UWA World Champion Aerynn Donnelly at the conclusion of tonight’s Monday Night Mayhem.”
Maria glances as door.
Maria Zalis: “We hope to have an update on her condition shortly.”
Before Maria can finish what she is saying, the door opens. Out steps not a member of the medical staff or Jamie Hensley herself, but instead “the Hong Kong Sensation” Amy Zing walks out of the room. Amy has changed out of her wrestling attire and into a simple short light green dress with dark green flowers. Maria seems a little confused to see Amy walking out of the room.
Maria Zalis: “Amy Zing, what are you doing here?”
Amy Zing: “What, I can’t have friends? Jamie and I have known each other since we were in ACW.”
Amy makes a face like she is a bit embarrassed.
Amy Zing: “Sorry.”
Maria Zalis: “It’s okay. So, how is Jamie?”
Amy Zing: “Jamie’s still being looked over just to make sure she’s okay. Me on the other hand, I am actually rather upset. Now I get Aerynn Donnely is under a lot of stress, but that does not excuse what happened tonight. Have you ever been hit with a title belt? I have and it hurts. It was uncalled for and completely unprofessional and unbecoming of someone looked at as a role model. Honestly, if I thought anyone was listening or watching this, and would take it seriously, I would challenge Aerynn Donnelly to a match at the next Mayhem and I will kick her head off. I don’t care if she is the world champion. I don’t care I have yet to actually win a match here. You do not do something like that to someone who was intimidated into what she did. It’s just disgraceful is what it is. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to check on a friend.”
“The Hong Kong Sensation” steps back into the room and closes the door behind her.
Maria Zalis: “Well there you have it. Hopefully we will be able to update you later.”
The scene cuts to black.
