Fraser Freeman is in his office, he is sat at his desk shaking his head vigorously from side to side at a video he is watching on his laptop. See Freeman has just watched Joshua McBride’s address to the UWA universe. Freeman closes his laptop and smirks widely and laughs under his breath. This man has no idea what he is on about, McBride has no idea what kind of man Fraser Freeman is and what he is capable of when he is backed into a corner and right about now he feels backed into a corner. There is a knock at the door.
Freeman: Come in
The door swings open and in walks Quentin Sharpe, who makes his way in and sits down opposite Freeman.
Freeman: What can I do for you Q
Sharpe: Well Frase, errr this might be a bit delicate not sure how to approach it
Freeman's eyebrows perk up as he is clearly very interested to find out what it is that is the issue.
Freeman: Go on?
Sharpe: Well, its Jade she has started dating again, in fact she has just left here now with her date now and well I thought I better let you know that....
Freeman rolls his eyes and is clearly not that impressed with Sharpe feeling the need to get him involved in Jades affairs.
Freeman: Q Jade is a big girl, if she wants to get back out there, if she wants to find someone new than that is her decision to make it is not my place to get involved.
Sharpe: See normally I would agree boss, but thing is the guy she is with, I recognised him from somewhere not sure where, all I do know is my guts telling me its not something good as to why I recognise him
Freeman: Oh right, well errr I guess I had better look into it, you got the footage of him from the security cameras?
Sharpe: Yes, here
Sharpe reaches into his pocket and pulls out a disk and hands it to Freeman.
Freeman: Alright then, I will look into it and get back to yourself
Freeman raises his hand and points in the direction of the exit and Sharpes takes his cue and gets up to leave, but stops at the door.
Sharpe: Sorry for getting you involved in this dude, I know things still gotta be a bit raw with Jade
Freeman: Nonsense Q its my job and its what im good at thanks for letting me know.
Sharpe nods and exits the room. Freeman opens up his laptop once more and waits for it to boot. Once booted up Freeman opens a program on his computer labelled as Free-roam, this is a program Freeman built himself that allows him to hack into and access all databases, he can even access things such as traffic lights and security cameras using this program. Once loaded he places the disk in the disk drive and gets to work.
10 minutes later and Freeman can be heard saying "Bingo gotcha", he hits the print button and strolls over to his printer. He places the printings into a plastic folder and takes a seat back at his desk. As he begins to read the document his eyes light up, after a few minutes of reading he can be heard saying “oh for fuck sake” at this point he summons Sharpe on his security radio. Sharpe is now back in Freemans office.
Sharpe: So you find anything?
Freeman opens his top desk draw pulls out the folder and slams it on the desk, Sharpe opens it and his eyes light up, he reads intently for a minute or so and then looks up at Freeman.
Sharpe: Fuck!
Freeman: Yep I know right
Sharpe: what you going to do?
Freeman: What needs to be done Q, what needs to be done, can you hold the fort her
e
Sharpe who is leaning on Freemans desk stands upright “sure” Sharpe nods and Freeman makes his way around the desk and pats Sharpe on the back as folder in hand he makes his way out the door, he is clearly not happy about whatever it is he is about to do. It is clear by the look on his face that he wishes he didn't have to, yet at the same time it is very apparent that whatever it is it needs to be done.

Romano's Italian Restaurant
Outskirts of the Las Vegas Strip, Nevada
6.30pm
We join Jade in Romano's Italian restaurant, she is dressed in a skimpy black dress and dolled up to the eye balls. She has a smile on her face as she cradles a glass of red wine in her hand. She laughs as the man opposite her tells a joke.
Jade: Your so funny Michael
The man sat opposite her is smartly dressed in a grey suit and white shirt, however as it is a casual dinner date he is not wearing a tie. This man is Jades date, he is Michael James Beckerman, an insurance salesman from Portland, Oregon.
Michael: Well I do try
They both chuckle a little bit till Jades eyes suddenly perk up “what the fuck” Jade is starting to get visibly angry as she rises to her feet. “what is it Jade” Micael looks a bit puzzled and confused as to what is going on. Jade however is seemingly getting angrier by the second “its my fucking ex” Jade shakes her head from side to side shocked and stunned “He is sat in the bar across the road staring at us, keeping an eye on us”. She shakes her head some more before starting to move “i will be right back I think its time to give him a piece of my mind!”.
Jade has now stormed out of the restaurant and made her way across the street to an Irish bar called Flanagan's. She angrily approaches Fraser Freeman who is sat at a table outside the bar and places her hands on the table before beginning an angry verbal assault.
Jade: FRASER! What the fuck are you doing here! Is this how it is going to be? Are you going to fucking follow me like some kind of love sick puppy every time I have a single fucking date?
Freeman just sits there staring across the road, he remains silent and Jade is getting more and more ticked off as each second goes by.
Jade: FRASER! Fucking answer me dammit!
He still remains silent and after a few minutes of just staring at a silent Freeman, Jade slaps him hard, he just smirks.
Freeman: Sit down Jade, this might be hard to hear especially coming from me
Jade: Oh for fuck sake your not going to propose or something? Confess your undying love? I am on a date with Michael!
Freeman: Not any more your not
Jade: What is that supposed to mean?
Freeman points across the road, as Jade turns and looks her date is being arrested by the Las Vegas, Police Department. See the reason Freeman had been quiet is he was buying time, he was keeping her distracted.
Jade: What the fuck is going on Fraser?
Freeman: Sit down Jade, sorry for the silence I had to get you out of there long enough for the police to arr.....
Jade: You got him arrested? Are you Crazy? What did you do? Fabricate evidence
Freeman: Jade just sit down and I will explain everything.
Jade angrily slumps into the seat and folds her arms, meanwhile Freeman picks up a folder that is on the table in front of him reaches over the table and places it in front of Jade. She opens it in a huffy manner and her eyes light up as she reads it, getting wider and wider the more she reads. She closes the folder and just sits there stunned for a few seconds.
Jade: So, so, so.... he could have done that to me..... buh buh but he seemed so nice.
Freeman: Yes Jade he could have, that file onl tells half the story, I did some more digging they were all hookers, I couldn't risk you being victim number 6
Jade looks stunned and shocked as she re-opens the folder and flicks through again. See Michael James Beckerman is on the run so to speak. He has skipped town and is wanted in 5 states for 5 separate accusations of rape and not only that, but every single one of the accusers worked as call girls. There was no way Freeman wasn't going to act, there was no way he was risking Jade being victim number 6. The two sit there quite for a minute before Jade sits up and looks angry again.
Jade: Ok so to the rescue you come again. But I am still pissed off Fraser, yes ok he was a fucking slime ball as it would seem, but where do you get off running background checks on every fucking guy I go on a date with?
Freeman: First of all Jade it wasn't me that did so, Sharpe recognised him from somewhere, must have seen him on a wanted commercial on TV, so he came to me and I looked into it. Secondly even if I had looked into of my own accord its my bloody job Jade your an employee of the Pleasure Dome it is my job to keep all you girls safe. In fact I think I failed to do my job leaving it to Sharpe to spot because I didn't want to get involved, of course I knew you were dating, the PD has thin walls not much gets past me. However I thought it best to leave you be its not my place to play jealous ex even if I wanted to!
Jade: sorry Frase, its just a shock, I know your just keeping me safe, I shouldn't of ranted at you like that. But what you said the Jellous ex part, did you want to.
Freeman looks a bit startled like a deer in headlights at that question, his reaction is more than enough on its own to tell Jade the answer is yes. She nods, it is clear to her now that he still has feelings, not that she really needed and proof and there’s hope maybes some day for the two.
Jade: Awww did I catch you off guard? Make you a bit red in the face?
Jade laughs a bit in a giggly tone and Freeman rolls his eyebrows, he clearly knows that he has inadvertently just told Jade he still has feeling without even speaking.
Freeman: Yeah well, my work here is done, I think I had better go and let Joshua McBride Know exactly what he is going to be facing on Monday, just like I planed on doing before all this came up
Freeman added that in for effect, an attempt to try and win back pride, trying to dismiss this whole ordeal as an unwelcome distraction and a clear effort at trying to show jade something other than interest. Jade Smirks she knew exactly what he was trying to do and it didn't work.
Jade:OH keeping you from business eh, coulda fooled me!
Freeman: I have a message to send. I will speak to you later, you need me you have my number
Freeman gets up and begins to walk away and Jade pats him on the back.
Jade: Go get em killer
Freeman Stops still in his tracks as Jade says that, his mind is racing, thinking does she know? How could she? After 10 seconds of panic he dismisses it and begins to walk off. Freeman's moment of panic came because of the speech he has been preparing in his head for the last few hours since hearing what Joshua had to say. Not that it really matters if she knows anyway, because if she don’t she soon will, he takes a big breath and gulps as he walks off and climbs into his car.
The way that Freeman has handled this whole situation clearly speaks volumes for the level of control he has gained over his emotions. Not too long ago he would have been storming the restaurant and beating the holly hell out of that guy. Instead he calculated how to best go about it, he thought it through even down to distracting Jade and carried out his calculated plan.
July 12th 2014
11pm
Location Unkown
The scene opens up as Fraser Freeman is sat in front of a black backdrop with a UWA logo on it in white. He is sat in a wooden folding chair thats seat part is made from black fabric, there is a table beside him on the table is a bottle of water.
I am here tonight to address the UWA universe, I am here to send a message plain and simple. Tonight I will be informing Joshua McBride what is awaiting him and believe me when I tell you Joshua you are not going to like what is in store for you, you are not going to like the imminent battle one bit.
Freeman reaches out for the bottle of water on the table, he cracks the seal opens the bottle and takes a swig before placing it back on the table. He steadies himself and begins to speak calmly and collectedly.
I don’t think you understand Joshua, I don’t think you realise exactly what my life has been like, what I am capable of. You say I don’t fear you yet but I should. Joshua you refer to yourself as a almighty god, you tell me that I should be afraid, you tell me that I should know my place and follow your orders because you and your children are the real leaders, the real people who must be followed. You know what I get it now I really do your scared of me aren't you, you fear me because I don’t fear you. You fear me because you see a man who isn't going to buy into your bullshit, you see a man who will stand up to you and stand there ground without flinching once and it scares you. It scares you because your beginning to think, how can I stop a man who has no fear of me, how can I stop a man who will not back down in the face of my violence and extreme actions. How oh how can I stop this man from coming at me with all he has if NOTHING that I can do, is going to make him back down.
Freeman flexes his eyebrows at the camera as he smirks a confident smirk at the camera. He is clearly full of confidence, he is gee'd up and ready to go, he has a point to make and a point to prove.
That’s where your children come in isn't it Joshua. There not by your side to further your cause, there not there to simply spout your rhetoric and spread the word of there almighty god aka you are they. The reason you have you children by your side is because you know that on your own you are weak, the reason that you have created an army of brainwashed soldiers is to stop you falling flat on your arse. Joshua you know that with out them someone like me, someone with passion and conviction would smite your cause before it even hits full swing, you know that a man who you cannot simply break with your psychological games would quickly see through the façade and leave you looking foolish and weak. That is why you wont commit to having a fair fight isn't it Joshua? That is why you wont agree to stand in the ring with me face to face with no back up and take me on in a fair fight. Face it Joshua in your heart you know that you cannot break me because I have something you don’t! I have heart and I have passion!
Freeman pounds his chest, visibly showing the UWA universe that he has passion and intensity, even if he no longer posses the rage that has fueld him as of late he still has a mission and it is still one that he takes very seriously and has passion and commitment instilled in.
That’s right Joshua I have a cause, I have a purpose to fight for. See Joshua you can do to me what you have already done to others and I know that. You can take loved ones away from me and you can brutally torture them, hell you could even take me captive and subject me to pain and torture, you could subject me to the levels of agony you have inflicted on poor Brody. But you know that you cant break me like you have others don’t you Joshua. You know that you cant simply make me back down with your actions of intimidation and psychological warfare and the reason for this as I am sure you know is there is one thing you can never take from me, you can NEVER take my drive to protect, you can never crush my determination to protect people from the likes of you.
A smirk comes other Freeman’s face, a smirk of confidence, a smirk of belief in his ability to back up his words with actions. Freeman is in the zone, he is calm cool collected and his words are dripping of his tongue and hitting the listener with the ferocity of a freight train that just hit a wall.
Let me tell you a little story Joshua, it is the story of a young man who entered the military at a very young age, it is the story of a young man who was a communications expert in the United Kingdom armed forces. This young man was spotted as having major potential as a child, he went to military school where they furthered his incredible technological skills. However when this young man reached 18 his country was at war, he was but through a crash course in combat and he was sent into the battle field to aid communication operations on the front line. He was sent to the Gulf Coast , this was the Gulf War. When out on a mission to gather information on the enemy this young man along with two of his colleagues was captured by the Iraqis. This young man and his cohorts were brutally tortured, whipped, chained, electrocuted, beaten half to death, needles under the finger nails, all the barbaric methods of torture you can imagine.
Freeman pauses for a second, it is as if he is in deep recollection, he is remembering the story and all its details and the look on his face is one that leads one to think that maybes, just maybes this story doesn't have the happiest of endings.
This young man constantly spat in the face of his capturers, he utterly refused to give up the information he possessed that could have made the torture stop in its tracks. He watched as his compatriots crumbled, he watched as his fellow soldiers squealed like pigs and gave up all the information they knew and this sickened him. Despite not being a combat hardened and ready front-line solider this young man seized an opportunity. He pulled his legs up to his head from the rope that was tied around his arms, the rope that was suspending him in the air hanging by his wrists. He proceeded to pull the metal shoelace holder out of his boot and he used his to slowly cut away at the rope that tied his wrists. See this young man was driven by a cause, he had a mission to protect his country and he was a dedicated young man, when he believed in something even if he would later find his beliefs to be misguided, he battled against anything to uphold them.
Freeman nods in agreement, a not that shows that he believes this young man to have been a man of great conviction and courage, a nod that shows the viewer in a passionate way that this story holds true meaning to Freeman.
After hours of slowly cutting away at the rope it finally gave way and he crashed to the floor, slowly pulling himself to his feet he made his way to a little metal table that had needles, knives, scalpels, pliers all the torture implements you could imagine on it. He picked up a knife and he made his way to his fellow soldiers. Now at this point you would assume that he would cut his fellow soldiers down and they would escape together but that isnt how it went down. No see this young man had seen these men give up secrets that could help the enemy, they had become sympathetic to the cause of the enemy. You could say they had been brainwashed. See these men they had Stockholm Syndrome, a condition in which the individual suffering abuse and torture bond with there capture, a condition where the individual will defend and sympathise with there capture. This young man at this point made the hardest decision he has ever had to make, he saw that they had become a liability to the cause, that they had given information that could harm the mission and he deemed them to be a liability to the cause. See the young man could not take the risk that these men would use there knowledge to help the enemy if they were freed. So one by one he struck each of them with a single knife thrust to the heart causing instant death. He took out people who had been there on the same cause as him because they had been compromised and he couldnt take the risk.
There is a cold dark look in the eyes of Freeman, it is almost like he has seen a ghost, telling that story has clearly taken him to a very dark place in his head, it is almost like his eyes have gone blank and distant. Freeman glares down the camera for a few seconds before gathering himself and returning to his speech in the calm manner the viewers are now becoming accustomed to seeing.
You see Joshua that young man was me! I told you, you don’t know what I have been through you don’t know what I am capable of myself when pushed into difficult situations, I am not a man you want to back in a corner. You should hear this story and take it as a warning Joshua, you have sadly made the wrong conclusions on me and that is your biggest mistake. See the story I just told Joshua, you are much like my captors in Iraq and your children well they are just like my compatriots, they have been brainwashed by you. Yes I said it again, I know you were adamant that wasn’t the case but come on Joshua it is obvious they are just like my fellow soldiers in Iraq. They have not been shown a better way by you like you like to think, they have not seen the light.
Freeman shakes his head from side to side showing Joshua and the UWA universe his disagreement with Joshua's assertions on his Children. It is clear to all those watching that Freeman is strongly opposed to McBrides view on the matter.
No Joshua they have became attached to you, they are suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, the fact there abuser has stopped hurting them has led to them interpreting it as an act of kindness. You Joshua are nothing more than an evil dictator who has brainwashed poor victims into blindly following you into battle by psychologically programming them to for a bond with you. Building an army of helpless soldiers to do the battle you are not man enough to do yourself. Then you have the cheek to try and play it off like its there choice, you have the balls to stand there and try and tell the world they follow you because they have seen the right path, that they have seen you are a god and they need to follow you.
Freeman chuckles a bit shaking his head from side to side once more, this time a deep inhale can be heard and a sigh is unleashed as Freeman shakes his head a few more times. It is as if he is in disbelief that McBride could in Freeman’s view be so clouded in his judgement on the matter. Its clear for all the viewers at this point that Freeman is visibly shocked at McBride’s views.
Joshua, Joshua, Joshua you poor deluded soul, I pity you I do, I pity you because you believe your own bullshit. Your free-fall is going to hurt Joshua, when you build your own ego up as high as you have built your own its a lonnnnnng way to fall and trust me when I tell you, you ARE going to fall at my feet be on Mayhem or be it at a later date you cant overcome me the way you have others. You cant just torture me into giving up, hell if I can in cold blood kill my fellow soldiers for failing astray and compromising the mission what will I do to you?
Freeman flexes his eyebrows a few times before once more cracking a wide smirk. A smirk that has a hint of evil intent in it but only a hint.
You see Joshua whilst my mission and my purpose may have changed since then, I am still on a mission and as I have illustrated I will fight tooth and nail for the cause, I will die before giving up. Hell if anything that is even more the case now, see my mission then it was misguided, I was led astray in my views from an early age to blindly follow the rhetoric my country fed me. Now you see my mission is pure it comes from the heart, I will protect those from people like you at all costs and I mean ALL costs. I will not be stopped by someone like you, no sir I refuse to kneel at your feet, I refuse to listen, I refuse to follow. Monday night I will stand in that ring tall and proud and I will fight. If you decide to bring your children along and turn this into a war just know this Joshua, you enter into war with me, you take that initial shot then your going to have to kill me, because there is NOTHING you can do that will stop me coming for you and your children, there is Nothing that can stop me from brining you down. Joshua McBride mark my words, I am giving you a gaurentee that eventually your downfall is coming, be it Monday be it down the line Joshua McBride you are going to hit Free-Fall!
Freeman stands up and the camera follows him, he picks up the water bottle from the table and raises it above his head. Freeman lets go of the water bottle and it begins its descent Free-Falling to the ground with a big splat. This is a clear symbol, this is a symbol for what Freeman truly believes awaits McBride on Monday night. The scene Fades to black as the camera focuses on the water bottle.
