::It was late at the U.W.A. Headquarters, after midnight and Oliver was working late. The paperwork, insurance forms and legal documents which needed to be done to get all of this finished was staggering but it was being done as a favor for someone Briana trusted and he was getting a potential future star in return.
At first it was just a chill and he was seen by the security monitors shivering slightly but he truly thought nothing of it as he continued his work, and then the lights all around the room began to shimmer. Lowered to Dim and then back to normal, down to dim and then back to normal.::
Oliver: “What the hell.....”
::The president and C.E.O. Of U.W.A. Looked up from his paperwork as the lights flickered in intensity all around him, then his eyes fell on the far corner of the room and found someone seated in a chair in the corner flicking the dimmer switch on the wall up and down.
It was a woman in her mid twenties. She wore a long black dress, beautiful in his midnight tones. Black stockings underneath shown by the slits on each side of the dress and a pair of black heels. She wore a crop blouse over her chest to cover the low cut of the dress. Her hair was bright blond tipped in red on one side and black on the other.
The Harbinger of the Children of Nephilim, Danika Bayne.::
Oliver: “Don't you knock?!”
::Oliver, truth be told, was a little put off by her surprising him like this. The fact that she was sitting in his office and he didn't even know she was there unnerved him. He hadn't forgotten his own kidnapping at the hands of these people.
Danika on the other hand looked up when he spoke and lifted a brow slowly. She touched her hand innocently to her chest and then thumbed toward the door.::
Danika: “You asked to see me. I can leave.”
Oliver: “Yes, I suppose I did.....about that....”
::Danika then slowly from from the chair. She didn't rush the desk but instead began to walk toward it. Each step slow, taken with purpose. Crossing one leg seductively in front of the other with each step. Her heels clicking off the tile.::
Danika: “Imagine my surprise when, through channels word reached us that the great Oliver Georgio has specificly asked for my presence. To what do I owe the pleasure?”
::If the woman wanted to skip with the pleasantries and get right to the matter at hand that suited him just fine. Oliver leaned back in his chair and crossed his hands in front of him.::
Oliver: “I am to understand you were once known as Dani Bay? Practicing Psychiatrist?”
::This caused that brow to lift every so softly into the air once again as she reached the desk and settled down into one of the chairs across the desk crossing one leg over the other.::
Danika: “Once upon a time. Why does it concern you?”
Oliver: “It concerns me.....because we need your expertise.”
::Danika uncrossed her legs and leaned forward as if she hadn't heard the man correctly.::
Danika: “You need my expertise? What exactly would that be?”
Oliver: “Dean Hemlen.”
::Danika leaned back as if she was struck by a blow and her eyes narrowed. She remembered her residency. The small state hospital in central Louisiana. The young kid who had killed a girl while driving drunk. She had heard he had been transferred to a facility in California with his doctor. Once she had regained her composure she shook her head in disbelief.::
Danika: “And what makes you think I would help you?”
::Oliver actually smiled at that and held up his hand for her to hold on a moment and pulled a sealed envelope from his desk and held it out for her. Danika took it with a mocking little smile touching the corners of her lips and slides her fingernail over the edge before pulling out papers and beginning to read. The further along she gets, the more the smile seems to melt off her face and her eyes begin to narrow.::
Oliver: “I trust you understand what those entail?”
Danika: “I am not stupid!”
Oliver: “Then you know....how quickly I can bring it all crashing down around your heads. And I am sure you don't want that.”
Danika: “Why not do it now?”
Oliver: “Quid Pro Quo Miss Bay. Quid Pro Quo.”
::Danika allowed her eyes to shift from the papers in her hand back up to him.::
Danika: “Touch'e Mister Georgio.....and it's Bayne. Danielle Bay is dead, her step brother killed her.”
Oliver: “Someday you will have to tell me about that.”
::Danika smiled a smile that could only be called cold. Hostile. Not creepy or mocking but dangerous and said softly, almost under her breath.::
Danika: “Not even if your life depended on it. Now what do you want?”
Oliver: “The kid is being released from the hospital and two of the conditions are he have gainful employment. The other.....”
Danika: “Is access to a mental health professional.”
Oliver: “Very good. How did you know?”
Danika: “Why else would I be here?”
Oliver: “Very good.”
::Danika unwound herself from the chair and rose turning for the door which pushed itself open to reveal her escort. The two forms of the Twins Ananiel and Ramiel who stood just inside the door now with their arms crossed and eyes narrowed on Oliver.::
Oliver: “Oh and Miss Bay.....”
::Danika stopped in the doorway gritting her teeth as she turned her now narrowed eyes on Oliver.::
Danika: “It's Bayne!”
Oliver: “Yes, Understand he isn't to become fodder for your little tin god.”
::Danika stepped forward first.::
Danika: “There is nothing little....or Tin, about Michael.”
::The Twins stepped in next to her and added.:::
Ramiel: “You of…”
Ananiel: “All people should…”
Ramiel: “Know better than to…”
Ananiel: “Question the abilities…”
Both: “of the Morning Star.”
::Oliver seems unfazed by both these statements and unbuttoned the top of his suit and pulls out a small cross from around his neck, smiles and responds.::
Oliver: “If you transgress the covenant of the LORD, your God, which he enjoined on you, serve other gods and worship them, the anger of the LORD will flare up against you and you will quickly perish from the good land which he has given you. Joshua 23:16.”
::She smirked right back to him as he qoute this, as unfazed by this as he seemed by them.::
Danika: "And yet, you follow the true tin God.. An absentee Father. Speaker and giver of False Hopes. We follow the Father who does not murder children, but defends and avenges them. A Father who didn't just say an eye for an eye.....but truly takes them. Don't we Children?”
Ramiel: “His Will.....”
Ananiel: “....Be done.”
::Danika turned then and walked out with the Twins behind her. Once the door closed and he was alone Oliver fell back against his chair and blew out a deep breath. That was a hell of a card he played, he was just glad it didn't backfire. Well, that problem was now solved....::
Oliver: “Hopefully....it doesn't create a whole new one.”
