Brief Character history:
Kyle Travis is considered one of the best wrestlers, as well as one of the most hated, there is. He is also one of the best technical wrestlers in the world. His tactics both inside and outside the ring, his ruthlessness and willingness to hurt an opponent, their valet or manager, friends and family have earned him a reputation as a ruthless and sadistic competitor, and a monster.
He began competing in CEW, quickly establishing himself as a top heel, but eventually left due to frustration with management. Shortly after, he joined OWO, where he became a top star, eventually becoming world champion. He spent a few months in various other companies with mixed success before joining LAW. Travis described his time in LAW as “being their whipping boy for five years” and “I was always two steps forward, knocked all the way back to the bottom of the ladder back”. Despite this, he managed to achieve his first Triple Crown before the fed shut down. He would then join ACW, winning his second Triple Crown and his first Grand Slam, the second in the company.
After a year out of the ring following ACW’s closure, Travis joined NEW. However, after almost a year, he became frustrated with the way the company was managed and their failure to promote him properly, instead focusing on people management favored, or brand new talent, as well as other issues. He would announce his departure and sign with UWA.
Travis made history in the UWA by becoming the first North American Champion. After losing the title, he began a brief alliance with Sang Réal, called Ragnarok. Following Ragnarok's break up, Travis feuded with Sin City Knights member Craven before ending it at Tragic Engagment. He would return a few weeks later, this time deciding to go after the Children of Nephilim, stating he chose to do so because he was "just so tired of them and so disappointed."
During his career, Travis has been a member of, or lead, several factions such as i2K (CEW), The Prime Time Trio and The People’s Crusade (OWO), the New Gods (LAW), Old School and Plague (ACW) and Beautiful Disaster (NEW), and recently, Ragnarok (UWA).
Travis takes great pride in his accomplishments and legacy, having earned the nicknames “the Canadian Legend” and “the Once and Future King”. To him, these are not just names given to him, but names he strives to prove he not only earned, but deserves, and he is willing to do whatever he has to in order to do so.
