::The President and C.E.O. Of The Unchained Wrestling Alliance sat behind his desk looking over various pieces of paperwork. The hospital bills for Broderick Montgomery and now Jeszika Gautier were a hell of a hit, but U.W.A. Was still very much in the black.
As he looked over these various documents a knock sounded off the door to his office and the door opened. A older brunette peaked her head in and cleared her throat.::
Secretary: “Mr. Georgio. There is a Mr. Eric Donovan here to see you.”
Oliver: “Yes, I figured I would see him sooner or later. Please show him in.”
::Oliver shuffled the papers into the outbound pile and straightened his tie before standing behind the desk. The door on the other end of the room opened and in walked a large man with brown hair pulled back into a tight ponytail. He wore a beautiful, almost immaculate chocolate brown suit and crossed the room clasping Oliver's outstretched hand in a firm shake.::
Oliver: “Ah Hello Mister Donovan. Miss Ronnie told me that you would be in touch. I didn't expect it to be so soon.”
Eric: “This has been a time sensitive subject, so I chose not to wait. ”
Oliver: “Then allow me first to offer you my condolences for the loss of your brother and tell you that Miss Ronnie is a delightful woman.”
Eric: “Yes, she has been a bright spot in all our lives for many years.”
Oliver: “Not only a bright spot. The woman has a fire to her, you can tell that.”
Eric: “How so?”
Oliver: “She was explaining how she met your brother and when Samuel asked which time he was married....”
Eric: “Your man actually brought that up to Ronnie?”
::Eric's usually harsh expression turned into one of amused glee at the mention of what he would have only imagined was a very angry Ronnie. The image seemed to truly amuse the large man who finally chuckled and shook his head.::
Eric: “We don't usually talk about it, but Ronnie took it exceptionally hard. She hates the woman with a burning passion.”
Oliver: “Yes, that much was made clear. Now, tell me about this kid?”
Eric: “Well, the DNA tests have been completed. He's David's son for sure. However.....”
::Eric seemed to pause as if there was more to be said but he was concerned to speak of it. Oliver however laid his hands flat on the desk and leaned forward.::
Oliver: “However.....? I don't like the sound of that.”
Eric: “He's inherited his father's mental disabilities.”
Oliver: “Disabilities?”
Eric: “That's not something I would prefer to discuss Mr. Georgio.....”
Oliver: “Look Mr. Donovan, if you want me to sign off on this, I need to know everything. For the safety of my brand and my employees.”
::Eric emitted a small little sigh as if this was something he didn't want to discuss again.::
Eric: “We aren't blood, David and I. I moved to the states in high school as a exchange student and lived with the family of his high school sweetheart. In their senior year, David's father chose to commit suicide. The reason's for it....aren't really important......”
::At the mention of the suicide of the man who had been like a father to him a haunted look crossed over his usually chiseled face. A haunted look that spoke of untold grief and the faintest hint of guilt that he had carried all these years.::
Eric: “....David disappeared after that. I didn't see him for nearly ten years. He went on to college and then broke into this business but while he was away the death of his father ate away at him. He sealed himself up inside this broken shell that was his psyche. What came out of college wasn't my brother, it was a different man, void of emotion. He called himself.....”
Oliver: “Snake. Yes. And you say that his son has inherited this mental instability?”
Eric: “Psychological disorders run in bloodlines. You have to understand it's not the boy's fault....but yes, however a secondary personality has begun to surface. That's why his mother contacted Ronnie, who in turn contacted me. He had a mental breakdown and has since been institutionalized.”
Oliver: “I didn't know any of this when we first talked. Do you have any idea the level of psychosis that runs wild in UWA? The last thing I need is to hire another one!”
Eric: “That's why I am here. In UWA he wouldn't feel like a freak. He'd be able to heal in the company of people who have made the same mistakes. It's actually a requirement of his being released by the facility. That he has gainful employment as well as undergo psychological treatment.”
Oliver: “And who would train him?”
Eric: “I will. With others stepping in as necessary.”
Oliver: “Train him. Tell them I will put him under contract, developmental until further notice and record all of his training sessions. I want to see them all before I put him on U.W.A. TV.”
Eric: “That sounds fair.”
::Eric turned to leave but Oliver clearing his throat caused the man to stop and turn once again.::
Oliver: “Where is the boy being held?”
Eric: “In a institute known as Atascadero State Hospital, near Santa Maria.”
::Oliver nodded his thanks and Eric turned and left the office closing the door behind him. For a moment Oliver sat leaning back on in the chair before picking up the phone and dialing.::
Oliver: “Samuel, are you still in Santa Barbara.....good, I need you to take a small detour to Santa Maria. Yes, I just met with Eric and it would seem our boy is currently residing in a mental health facility.......yes, I couldn't agree with you more. Check him out will you? Thanks.”
::Oliver softly hung up the phone and leaned once again back in his chair staring out the window. This was a gamble, but it could pay huge dividends.::
