The camera opens upon Cole Hunter and the woman known as Artemis sitting in the Confessional room, the woman known as Jade sitting on her knees, a leash attached to a collar around her neck, a dazed, stoned look in her eyes. As Artemis pulls ever so gently on the leash, Cole produces a remote control and turns on the video screen at the end of the room.
Cole Hunter: Wondrous things, video cameras…
Artemis: Indeed they are. They provide us with entertainment aplenty capturing things the human eye sometimes misses. And you know what they say. The camera never lies.
Nodding, Cole glances at the screen before them.
Cole Hunter: I wonder…
Artemis: Hmm?
Unable to help himself, he smirks and presses a button.
Cole Hunter: Hmmm… what flavor… intervention, perhaps?
Artemis: Everyone loves a good intervention.
Cole nods.
Cole Hunter: Especially when the object of affection in question… is you.
Artemis: Indeed.
He presses the button and a video starts playing, obviously shot through a webcam on a laptop. The date on it says this was taken on June 3rd, 2015. As the camera focuses, Jeszika Gautier can be seen sitting between her best friends, Bethany Kenyon and Nikki Peltier and her lovers, Carrie Winter and Kristian Devereaux.
Bethany Kenyon: So, how long are you supposed to be out?
Jeszika Gautier: They don't know... a few weeks maybe? A few days?
Everyone nods, worry working it’s way around the circle.
Nikki Peltier: So… I guess we’ll need to make a few calls to make sure you get the proper care then…
Jeszika Gautier: Yeah I suppose so... or you could just leave me be and let me go make him pay... that simple…
Carrie frowns.
Carrie Winter: Him… you mean you wanna go right after the guy who did this?
Jeszika Gautier: Well yeah who else would I be talking about?
Carrie’s eyes go wide on shock and fear.
Carrie Winter: Oh my god…
Jeszika Gautier: I can't let him get away with this... I just can't... he has to pay!
Nikki nods.
Nikki Peltier: Nobody’s saying you should let him get away with anything, Jez.
Jeszika Gautier: Then what are you saying? What do you want me to do?
Carrie manages to look up.
Carrie Winter: I just don’t want you to get hurt worse.
Jeszika Gautier: It’s only a concussion…
Carrie’s bottom lip starts trembling.
Carrie Winter: He tried to smash your head, Jezzy! Your head… and the doctors can’t tell you when you’ll get to compete again! It’s like he gave you a car crash and it’s JUST a concussion?
Jeszika frowns
Jeszika Gautier: Carrie.... are you high?
Carrie’s eyes go wide in shock.
Carrie Winter: What?
Jeszika Gautier: You are, aren't you?
Nikki Peltier: Jezzy…
Jeszika Gautier: I can't believe this... you tell me not to go after him but in the same breath you’re being just as as reckless in your own way...
Carrie Winter: I… I…

Carrie shakes her head.

Back in the room, Cole smirks as he pauses the video.
Cole Hunter: Ah, never shall it grow tiresome…
Artemis: Never ever, but can they stop her making the mistake she plans to make?
Cole smirks.
Cole Hunter: Shall we proceed with the movie?
Artemis nods and Cole presses the button to allow the video to proceed on its proper course.
Bethany Kenyon: Jezzy, you need to listen to the doctors and not go rushing right back in…
Jeszika Gautier: Why the hell not?
Kristian nods to Carrie.
Kristian Devereaux: Because, she’s right. This man hurt you, apparently badly, and if you go rushing back in after him before you’re healed…
Nikki nods.
Nikki Peltier: You’ll get hurt again.
Carrie Winter: You’ll be worse…
Jeszika Gautier: I’ll be fine… I just give him a taste…
Carrie shakes her head.
Carrie Winter: Or he’ll hurt you bad…

Kristian Devereaux: Like somebody whose care I have to fix.
As Jeszika starts to retort, Bethany can’t help herself anymore.
Bethany Kenyon: You’ll end up like Brody, Jez!
Jeszika opens her mouth to speak but closes it again,
Jeszika Gautier: Beth… I…
She shakes her head.
Jeszika Gautier: Fine, I’ll wait…
Bethany Kenyon: Promise us…
Carrie nods as do Kristian and Nikki.
Nikki Peltier: Promise us you won’t go back until you get cleared.
Jeszika sighs.
Jeszika Gautier: Fine… I wont. I’ll wait.
Carrie nods, slumping hard against the seat.

Cole Hunter: A wondrous prospect, added to a preliminary step and perdition’s causeway has commenced its construction…
Artemis: Indeed it has… So whats next?

Artemis pouts.
