Today was like any other Thursday in the Land Fill. Johnny D'Angelo would be running a bulldozer as he wore a New York city waste service uniform. The navy blue jumpsuit would be dirty looking. He had on a grey beanie, that looks damn near black. Gloved hands worked the lever of the dirty yellow plowing machine.
Standing outside a truck was his foreman, who knew not to bother the man while he was working. Johnny had been out of the wrestling business for some time and took back his old job. Soon the foreman mustard up the the courage to go talk to him. So stepping on bits and pieces of trash, it would take the man about 10 minutes to walk to the bulldozer that Johnny was operating. "Yo, Johnny! You got a message back at the shop. Its very important!"
Hearing his foreman, Johnny looked to the man, his face red from the beating cold wind. Stopping the heavy machine, he would get out and follow his foreman to the company truck. Getting in on the passenger side, he remained quiet and emotionless as they drove up to the big industrial sized building. Getting out the near seven foot tall giant walked to the break room as he noticed a card that had a number on it. Dialing the number, Johnny waited for someone to pick up.
Samuel Johnson-"Johnny D'Angelo, it's nice of you to call me. Let me tell you what I do, I work for the UWA, that is the Unchained Wrestling Alliance. I am the Head of Talent here at UWA. I came across your bio and saw some of your matches. I just want to say it would be an honor if you can come down to my office and we can talk out the details of a contract. Sound good?" Sammy knew that Johnny wouldn't come down to the office but he didn't know that man also didn't talk.
Johnny would breathe into the phone a little heavily as he mulled it over, so pressing the 1 button on the phone, he decided to do it again.
Samuel Johnson- "So can I count on you to sign the contract? Its a nice lucrative deal. I'll tell you what, I'm in the city and come by to drop it off, if you want. Sound good?"
The sound of a phone button would be pressed again, giving the confirmation to Samuel to come down.
Samuel-"Great see you in a bit."
Hanging the phone up Johnny would walk out of the break room and go back to work as he did before being interrupted for this business opportunity.
It would be only an hour or so before Samuel was brought out to where, Johnny worked. The big husky man would step onto the landfill as he tried to not to lose his balance. The foreman would follow Samuel as he told him in the truck that the man doesn't talk and has an intimidating look to his face.
When the two got there, the foreman left after making eye contact and would let the two men handle their business. Johnny looked to the heavy set man as he awaited for the contract. Samuel would size the man as he was dwarfed compared to the man in front of him. After a few minutes of hesitation, the contract was pulled out and a pen as well as the ink filled writing utensil was in front of Johnny.
Taking the pen, Johnny signed all the necessary paper work as he handed both pen and papers back to the big guy before climbing back up into his bulldozer and going back to work. "I'll call you with where and when your match will be and who you will be facing." Samuel said as he turned and headed back to the truck.
