Bethany has been awake for roughly fifteen minutes, just long enough to realize she had a rough night the previous evening. With her head pounding, she walks to the bathroom and suddenly realizes she has no idea where she is. As panic starts to set in, she turns around to see Nikki sleeping on the floor with Jeszika and Ashley next to her. Bethany staggers back into the bathroom and leans against the wall.
Bethany Kenyon: What the hell happened?
Shaking her head, she reaches into her pocket and finds her phone. She scans the messages to see if any of them might make her remember.
Bethany Kenyon: Come on… come ON!
Finding nothing, she just stares at the phone in disbelief. Before she can say anything else, the door opens. Bethany looks up to find Jeszika Gautier standing there, smiling sadly.
Jeszika Gautier: Morning, B.
Bethany nods back.
Bethany Kenyon: Morning…
The two stand there staring at each other in silence for a minute before Jeszika nods.
Jeszika Gautier: You don’t remember anything, do you?
Dread creeps over Bethany at the tone in Jeszika’s voice.
Bethany Kenyon: No… ?
She steps back towards the shower, silently praying to herself about what she’s about to hear from her best friend in the world. Jeszika nods and slowly slips into the bathroom, closing the door quietly behind her.
Jeszika Gautier: You need to know right off that nobody blames you…
Bethany steps back even further into the shower, gripping the grab bar to keep from slumping to the floor.
Jeszika Gautier: I had a drink last night…
Bethany’s hand grips the bar so hard, her knuckles start turning white.
Bethany Kenyon: How…?
Jeszika sighs heavily knowing this is not going to be pleasant for either of them.
Jeszika Gautier: I got to AJ’s after you did and when I got there, you were three sheets to the wind and had a big load of coke already cut into lines in front of you.
Bethany’s eyes go wide as she starts shaking.

Her free hand manages to move up and slowly point to herself.

Horror washes over her, her knees buckle and she slumps down to the shower floor.

Jeszika nods slowly.

Bethany searches for words but none are forthcoming. Outside of the bathroom, Nikki and Ashley both start to stir. As they sit up on the floor, Nikki notices Jeszika and Bethany missing.
Nikki Peltier: Oh no…
Ashley sits up and rubs her eyes.
Ashley Kenyon: Morning to you too, Nik… what’s up?
Nikki nods to the empty space on the floor next to them.

As Ashley starts looking around, a loud mournful wail starts up from the bathroom.

Ashley hurries with her and when they open the door they find Jeszika holding a sobbing Bethany in the shower.

Nikki nods knowingly and hurries to their side, kneeling down just outside the shower.

Bethany sit back against the wall again in shock.

Bethany’s eyes fly open as everyone in the room’s gaze moves to the enraged Ashley.

Ashley searches for more but only has angry tears.

Bethany springs up and catches her sister as Ashley starts to fall down, Jeszika and Nikki moving up to catch her as well.

Bethany holds her sobbing sister’s head to her shoulder as tears of shame continue to stream down her own face.

Nikki and Jeszika both hold onto both Kenyon Sisters as they all desperately try and help each other get through this whole situation.
Half an hour later, Bethany is in her own room firing up her laptop and turning on the webcam, nominally to skype back home with Brody. As she sits there wondering how all of this could have happened, Bethany nods, wipes at her eyes and then checks to make sure the camera is working properly. Once satisfied that everything is functioning, she fires it up and nods.
Bethany Kenyon: So, I’ve heard your boyfriend likes to watch…
She looks up, tears still evident on her face.
Bethany Kenyon: Did he get a good show then?
She nods as if she already knows the answer is an affirmative one.

Nodding again, she waits for another answer she already knows will be an affirmative one.

Waving her hands all around the room like the rest of Arsenal are just waiting to pop out, Bethany’s voice takes on an almost pleading tone.
Bethany Kenyon: We were there! We were ALWAYS there, when nobody else was! we stood with you even looking down the battlefield at an army way bigger than the one we had! we knew the wave was gonna crash onto us on the shore and we stood there anyway because we cared, we gave a damn!

She sits forward, anger starting to creep into her voice and her eyes.

Incredulous, Bethany pounds her fist on the table again.
