The scene opens with J-Shades walking on a park trail. It’s night and there doesn’t seem to be anyone out besides Jay and the camera man following him. Jay has his normal blue jeans on, with a blue T-shirt with the name “Giants” written across in red letters, and blue Converses. He also had a black leather jacket on as it was a bit windy out this night. His Sunglasses were perched on top his head.
Jay: Hey there, Jameson. It’s J-Shades here. It’s okay if you don’t know me, you’ll be getting to know me soon enough. (holds out his arms to indicate his surroundings)Thought it would be nice to take a walk together.
He walks and talks, not looking at the camera that follows beside him, but periodically looking at it.
Before I talk about this Sunday though, I wanna take a step back. About a week and a half ago you and I had a lot in common. We were both debuting in UWA, right there in Seattle. Guys like us, rookies, making a name for ourselves. I could see guys like us growing together in this company. Becoming top guys and taking UWA higher and higher in the world of Pro Wrestling. World championships… magazine covers… maybe even getting this place on national television!
I’m sure you know how that night in Seattle went, unless the man of 1004 nicknames knocked the memory out of you.
I left that arena feeling dumb and embarrassed. Sure I lost my match, but I’m not a sore loser and I’m already over that. Congrats on that win Skylar, by the way.
I got backstage and waited a bit to shower cause I wanted to see your match. I was happy to see a young guy drop Vince Jones on his head, that’d take the sting away from my recent lost. And what did you do? (pointing, but still not looking, at the camera and almost laughing)You fucking lost!
That really got to me. You talked all that talk and couldn’t get it done. I was baffled. I felt bamboozled. I mean here’s a man who, like you said, has more than a bit of mileage under his boot, that barely even cared about his opponent, and you couldn’t get it done?
So here’s how I feel at the moment. I just lost my first match to a women, so I’m hungry for a victory, and my next opponent (stopping to focus in the camera) happens to be a man who made me feel like an idiot. Houck, I don’t want you to disappoint me this Sunday. I want you to come at me with everything you’ve got. (getting close to the camera so Jay‘s only visible from the neck-up)I want you to prove to me that what happened that Monday was a fluke, and that you can run with the future star of UWA. I have no doubt in my mind I’ll be beating you this Sunday, but I don’t want an easy win. I want me and you to tear the house down! We may be the opening match, but I want that arena to chant my name all night because I was able to beat a real threat. I want to be able to shake your hand after our five star match. I want to steal the show! And most of all, I want everyone one to know that these new guys aren’t to be ignored! Jameson, don’t disappoint me this Sunday. Give me what I want.
The score is Oh and one for the both of us. This isn't a streak I plan on keeping. See you Sunday.
J-Shades gives one final smirk and covers the camera lens with his hand and the scene ends.
