Right after Mayhem last week
Skylar comes running into her motel room, eyes filled with panic and fear, breathless from her running as she closes the door and locks it behinds her before putting her back to the wall and running her hands through her hair.
Sin:
"Everything ok Sky?"
She looks at her friend, her breathing coming fast
Sky:
"He's here... Damn it Sin.. He's here!"
Sin:
"Who's here?"
Skylar:
"HE is here.... He's found me again..."
Sin:
"Rick... is here?"
She nods, her breath coming quick from her running and her freaking out.
Skylar: "Yes... What do I do Sin... I have a proper job now... I can't run... I'm legally under contract now and can't run..."
Sin:
"Chill, have a valium or a shot or something... what about that bguy you were gettin sweet on lately?"
Skylar nods and goes to the fridge and pulls out a bottle of Jager and pours a shot and downs it.
Skylar:
"Pauly's good and all, but I don't think I should drag him into this... Not when he is involved..."
Sin:
"yeah but... isn't that what a... boyfriend is for?"
Skylar:
"Thats true... But, I don't want to see him hurt."
Sin:
" Yeah but... what else can you do? If Rick is... does he work there too?"
Skylar:
"I... I don't know... But he was out in the locker room, so it stands to reason that he does... and e seemed just as suprised to see me there as I was to see him. So I think he didnt know I was there...
Sin:
"Didn't... "
Skylar:
"Though I must admit it is a hell of a conseuence, that out of all the wrestling places in all of America, he happened to stumble on the very one I was in..."
Skylar looks over at her,
Skylar:
"What do I do Sin... I.. I don't know any more..."
Sin hugs her.
Sin:
"Sssh... Skylar... it's ok..."
Skylar hugs her back.
Skylar:
"I should have know he would find me again... I was stupid to think he wouldnt"
Sin:
"Let's just... look, it's just Skylar and Cindy here... just Sky and Sin..."
Skylar:
"You know... Since he's in the city, he could find me here right?"
She sighs
Skylar:
"But your right... Night now its just us... Sky and Sin..."
She looks down at her feet then back up at Sin.
Skylar:
"So you think I should tell Pauly?"
Sin:
"Probably, yes."
Skylar:
"How do I tell him without scaring him away Sin... Though running would be the smart thing to do..."
Sin:
"I don't wanna run anymore..."
Skylar:
"I mean him running... Pauly should run if he knows whats good for him"
Sin:
"Would he?"
Skylar:
"Probably not. He's not the coward type..."
Sin:
"What do you think will happen when Pauly and Rick meet?"
Skylar:
"Probably all out war..."
Sin:
"Fun..."
Skylar:
"yeah... if you call all out war with us 2 stuck in the middle fun..."
Sin:
"What would they do with me?"
Skylar:
"Nothing... They'd be too busy killing each other. We'd be best to stay out of the way and let them go at it."
Sin nods.
Skylar: "Well... I guess all we gotta do now is wait out things and see what happens, though if I see him again. I aint talking to him, I'm not ready for that yet."
Sin:
"Is he really likely to be that bad?"
Skylar:
"Its been 8 years Sin... 8 Years.. I don't know what he's like anymore."
Sin:
"So... he could be really... really... really..."
Skylar nods.
Skylar:
"He's been tracking me for 8 years... So who knows really... I don't want to find out..."
Sin:
"What was he like before?"
Skylar:
"He was loving, caring, sweet... Everything I could have ask for in a man... I loved him Sin, I really did... Until..."
Sin:
"But now..."
Skylar:
"I don't know... Like I said, I havent talked to him in 8 years... All I know is, I'm not the same girl he loved then, and he no doubt isnt the same either..."
Sin:
"And he's had eight years to think about it..."
Skylar:
"8 years of pain... All built up... ready to explode"
Sin:
"I don't wanna run anymore but... I will if you want to."
Skylar:
"I'll play it by ear... I'm sick of running... Contractually bound to this company, so I can't... I jst have to face it.."
Sin:
"I'm here if ya need me... we got anything to like... zone out on?"
Skylar:
"We got pleanty of this"
She hold up the bourbon.
Skylar:
"Will that be enough?"
Sin smiles.
Sin:
"Shall we?"
Skylar:
"We shall"
She grins and takes out another shot glass, pouring one fo herself, and one for Sin.
Skylar: "Bottoms up"
They each knock back the shot as the scene fades out.
