>>> 9 April 2014 – Las Vegas, NV <<<
-- It just hadn’t been a good few weeks for her. First, having lost her first two matches, though they were tag matches. And now her first singles match loss. Yeah, she was in a bit of a pissy mood. And right now, the only way to take it out was to go to the gym.
-- Four am came and she was up and in the shower. She didn’t even bother with making coffee or food. “I’ll jus’ grab somethin’ on tha way.”, she told herself. And she did. She stopped to grab an energy drink and some kind of fruity mix for breakfast.
-- Thirty minutes later, she pulled into the parking lot of the gym. Logan was there to meet her. After Monday night, he knew she’d need to beat some aggression out on something.. Or someone. And he figured he’d might as well be that someone.
-- Him being there surprised her as she kicked the stand of her bike down to settle it and grabbed her bag. She was dressed in a pair of black sweats, a black t-shirt and a black hoodie with the hood pulled up over that blonde hair of hers. She’d quickly braided it to keep it out of her way while she was wreaking havoc on the heavy bag or her sparring partner.
-- Logan laughed a bit as he noticed the look of surprise on her face.
Logan: “After Monday night, I figured this would be the first place you’d come to once you got home.”
-- He shrugged and held the door open for her. She smiled, nodded and headed inside. Laying a hand just over his chest as she passed him to head inside.
-- She dropped the bag by a bench as she got inside and settled on the bench to start wrapping her hands up. As she did that, Logan moved over to the stereo system and put in a new CD. Pressing play, he moved over to start helping her stretch and warm up.
-- Once they were both warmed up, she moved over to the heavy bag; Logan moved behind it to hold it. As she landed the first punch, Five Finger Death Punch’s cover of “Mama said Knock you Out” hit the speakers. She smiled darkly to Logan and he simply nodded and braced for the first punch into that bag.
>>> Four Hours Later <<<
-- She was stepping out of the locker rooms and moved over to where Logan was talking to the owner of the gym. Both men turned to look at her and the owner nodded while Logan smiled.
Logan: “There’s my girl.”
-- Aerynn smiled lightly and nodded to the owner. She felt a million times better. But now, she had it in her head that she needed to get shit on an even level.
-- First there was her loss to Brody. Well, two losses to him, actually. The first one, she could’ve dealt with. But the second, where he was brash and careless.. No, heartless.. with what happened to her. Yeah, she had her own demons to deal with. And the Children were the least of her worries. Even if they did fuck her out of having her rightful title belt. No, she was done being everyone’s little poppet. To do with as they saw fit. She wasn’t going to be anyone’s rug anymore.
-- Spring Slaughter was going to be a catalyst for her. She was going to make Oliver see that he was bowing down to the Children. And she was going to do it in a way that made everyone stand up and take notice. She just.. wasn’t sure how. Not yet anyways. But, she’d figure it out. She always did.
-- She looked over to Logan and smiled.
Aerynn: “Care tae take a ride wit’ me?”
-- Logan looked at her with an arched brow. Shrugging a shoulder he motioned for her to precede him.
Logan: “Sure, babe. What’s up?”
-- She smiled at him and headed out of the gym. Moving over to her bike, she secured her bag and grabbed her helmet. Looking over to him as he was doing the same, she grinned.
Aerynn: “There’s this place up North. Quaint lil diner tha’ I found a few weeks back. ‘Sides, I need a good ride tae get me brain movin’ in tha right direction. Need tae figure somethin’ out.”
-- Logan nodded to her as he started his bike. He knew the diner she was talking about. It was his parents place. And he agreed, the ride would do her some good.
Logan: “You wanna stop and get changed first? I got a change of clothes in my bag here.”
-- She nodded to him and off they headed to her place.

-- She’d had time to think. To ponder over what she wanted to do. How she was going to make her stand. Both against Oliver.. And the Children.
-- A few days before, she’d sent her luggage on to the hotel she was going to be staying at and decided to drive up to Portland. She used the time it took her to drive to go over her options. She was sick of getting beat down. Both physically and mentally. She’d had.. enough.
-- Everyone in U.W.A. wanted to know what the “real” Aerynn Donnelly was like? They were about to find out.
-- She’d been a fighter her whole life. She’d always been the one to put others needs before her own. Her mother. Her father. Pauly.. And now, U.W.A. Not just each individual person. But U.W.A. as a whole. She’d had her belt stolen from her after rightfully winning it at Tragic Engagement.
-- Which brought her to why she was in the state of mind she was now. Oliver was allowing the Children to terrorize him into not giving her her proper due. The World Championship Belt. She earned it. She put her soul into this company. Her spirit and sweat. Yes, even her blood.
-- She’d come to the determination that she would, indeed, bleed for U.W.A. And Spring Slaughter was going to be no different.
-- Just because her opponent was her best friend, she wasn’t going to be walking into the ring and taking him for granted. No, she was going to be stepping into that ring and she was going to be fighting for her belt. Her title.
-- Aerynn Donnelly IS the Unchained Wrestling Alliance’s World Wrestling Champion. And dammit, she was sick to death of people telling her she isn’t good enough… That she isn’t worthy enough to have that title!!!

“Pauly O’Connor. Tha Firecracker.”
-- She sneered lightly as she looked out at the scene before her. She was standing in the middle of the very ring in which they were going to have their fight at Spring Slaughter. She was standing there in her ring attire. The only thing missing were her boots. She was standing in the middle of the ring.. barefoot. Walking around as if she were drawing some type of mystical power from the mat itself. The hood of her hoodie was pulled up over that golden blonde hair of hers. Yet, it was pouring out of the right side of the hood. Her blue eyes were intense. Filled with a determination that no one, not even Pauly himself, had ever seen before.
-- She twisted her head slightly to the left and again to the right. The sound of her neck cracking could be heard. Only barely.
“Ye’ve let yer guard down. Yer nae tha man ye were when ye started in this business. I told ye, time an’ time ‘gain, ye need tae keep yer head in tha game. Ye need tae nae lose sight o’ whot’s important.”
-- She spread her arms out to show that she was indicating the ring. The entire arena, really.
“I’ve spent me entire life fightin’. Fightin’ fer others. Fightin’ fer whot’s right. Fer ye. Fer me da. Fightin’ a fight tha’ ye’ll ne’er understand. Ye’ll ne’er be able tae understand tha monster I fight e’ery single day, Pauly.
Tha darkness tha’ lies inside all o’ us. Tha’ monster tha’ claws, bites an’ fights tae be free.
Tha’ monster is fightin’ tae be free now.”
-- She raises her right hand up and taps her index finger against her temple.
“She feels threatened. An’ whot do ye think she’s gonna do? Do ye think she’s gonna just lie down an’ hand o’er tha belt tae ye? Do ye think tha’ all ye gotta do is bat those pretty little eyes at her an’ she’ll kneel b’fore ye. Belt held up fer ye tae take as ye want?”
-- She sneered again as she shook her head.
“Nae. She’s nae gonna do tha’. She’s gonna fight. She’s gonna bite an’ scratch. She’s gonna growl and scream.
She’s gonna fight tae keep tha’ control.
Oh, dinna think, fer one moment, tha’ she’ll make any mistake on who her sights are gonna be set on come Spring Slaughter.
It’s ye, Pauly.”
-- She began to pace back and forth. A dark sort of laugh spilled past her lips as she paused, turned to look over her left shoulder with that twisted smile.
“I do have one question fer ye, Pauly.. A question I’m nae sure ye’ll like.. But a question tha’ needs tae be asked none tha less..”
-- She turned to fully face whatever camera was around now.
“When did ye become Brody?”
-- And with that, she moved over to the ropes closest to the ramp, dropped down and rolled out of the ring. And the scene fades on Aerynn Donnelly, U.W.A.’s World Wrestling Champion walking up the ramp.
