I hate staying on the phone for long amounts of time, hell even seconds is far to long for me to give up my free time to speak to anyone about anything... so surely taking the time out of my day to make a recording for my opponents to see, the fans to see... and for me to watch what they had to say... It was tiring. That was why I had others doing it for me. I started thinking and after a moment I figured I should prepare for the worst. After all, I was going into the ring against two men who were both bigger than myself... much bigger in many ways. I needed to make sure that I was going to be fine after the match was over.
“Make sure to have both a cold and hot soak set up along with the spa treatments. I need to make sure I am right back how I was before the match quickly. I don't have time for injury.”
I turned and started to head towards the back of the building before stopping and looking at Amber once more.
“Oh yeah, and make sure you don't forget about Jack this time.”
I smiled softly before walking away and heading through the room and into a door in the back.
“Cass, you have company..”
Amber spoke up as Cassandra finished with the cardio training she was doing with her client. When Cassandra walked up to the desk and leaned over, Amber continued.
“You know, that princess of a friend of yours...”
“When did Kay get here?”
“About twenty minutes ago, and the first thing she did after walking through the door was start running down a list of places she wanted me to call for appointments for her. I don't get it... How are you and her friends? She is nothing like you..”
“She wasn't always like this Amber. She never touched the money left to her before. She always worked hard for everything she had, she was just like me. After the cancer fight the second time, she just decided to live her life differently.”
“You know that doesn't mean she has to treat people like they are her personal servants.”
“Think of it like a little side job. She always leaves a nice little tip right?”
Amber shook her head and laughed before waving Cassandra off. Cassandra was two years younger than myself, and she worked her ass off to become the successful career woman she was today. She owned and ran two gyms and taught cardio and other training to many clients. She didn't ever stop working though, and that was her biggest problem. I was used to it however, and with everything she has been through with me, I have no problem sitting there and not ragging on her either.
The door opened and I turned around in the chair sitting behind Cassandra's desk and smiled as she came into her office before closing the door behind her. I stood up and moved to sit on the desk while she took her seat.
“So, what is the plan for today?”
“Kay, are you sure about this? You know I am not going to hold back on you. You are stepping into the ring after not being in a gym for months. You stopped training, and all you have been doing is focusing on the modeling career.”
“Hey, everyone needs to have something to fall back on. My looks get me places.”
“You don't need to do anything at all, and you know it, so I don't understand you.”
“Cass, if you were in my position, you wouldn't stop doing what you love just because you had money and were set for life.”
The silence told me everything I already knew... everything we both already knew.
“Alright then. Go suit up and we will get started.”
“Give me a few minutes. I am going to say what I have to say to my opponents and load it up on facebook.”
“Just remember, I have another client coming in, so you only have me for two hours.”
I nodded before getting up and leaving the room heading back into the locker room area. I didn't even pay any mind to the ladies that were walking in here and there... if they got into the shot that was on them. Not me. Turning on my phone I held it in front of me and started to record.
“So, it seems like the time is ticking. In a short amount of time I will be stepping into the ring with two men who are twice my size. You would think I might have some fear in me... but I don't. I have no fear what so ever. This is just another day in the job for me. I have stepped into the ring against monsters, and I have walked away just fine.
I have been training for years to become one of the best, and at one point in my career, I was there... and I am itching to be there again. It might not be now, but its only a matter of time before I am wiping the ring with your carcasses. I have no shame in anything I do, and I don't care how I get things done. It's not about winning for me.. but making a statement... and I always make statements. Give it a little bit of time, and you will be fearing stepping into the ring against me.
Open your eyes gentlemen. It doesn't matter who you are, or how big and bad you think you might be... you need to remember something, and remember it well. Don't take me for sweet and innocent, because you will be fooled. I will step into the ring, and face you both head on. I have no problem stepping into your space and showing you just how much of a BITCH I am. Be ready boys... it's time to whip you into shape.”
