As they pull up to her driveway, Jeszika Gautier looks over at Bethany Kenyon before quickly looking away. Bethany had driven them back from the airport here to Jeszika’s home and Jeszika was still hot over what happened two days previous at Mayhem with Sentinel.
Bethany: So…
Jeszika: So... what?
Bethany puts the SUV in park but does not turn it off.
Bethany: Jezzy…
Jeszika: What? In case you didn’t notice... Sentinel kinda took us both out, you expect me to be happy about that?
She snarls.
Jeszika: Yep, I'm sunshine and kittens right now.
Bethany nods slowly.
Bethany: I know… it scares me when you go quiet like this though.
Jeszika: Worried I might go do something stupid huh? Like give Sentinel what’s coming to him?
Bethany shrugs.
Bethany: Among other things.
Jeszika: I appreciate the concern, B, but all I want to do right now is drive back and make Sentinel hurt... I need something to hit and hit it hard... person, bag or otherwise.
Bethany nods, puts the vehicle into gear and pulls right back out of Jeszika's driveway.
Bethany: Ok... gym, here we come.
Jeszika: I can't believe he decked you out like that, B... It’s understandable that he got me... but you? You're innocent in this... He should have NEVER laid a finger on you!
Bethany nods.
Bethany: It hurt too.
Jeszika: He sure packs a punch that’s for sure... but we can hit back just as hard...
Bethany: Only, we're not hitting back on him. We're fighting Sang Réal and Lacey Roberts, three champions.
Jeszika: Three champions versus an ex-champion, a current champion and a possible future champion. Granted, their titles don't even come close to ours...
Bethany: Nothing wrong with their championships.
Jeszika: Still... World champions... Tag champs... Doesn’t quite balance the same...
Bethany's voice lowers, hurt seemingly seeping in.
Bethany: You didn't say that when that was me and Ash.
Jeszika: But you guys aren’t Sang Réal...
Bethany shakes her head.
Bethany: No we're not.
Jeszika: We gave credit to those titles, held them high with pride and represented UWA proudly as a company. We never shat on its fans. We never once made out that we were better than anyone else. We fought for all we had, earned everything we got.
Bethany: And his Murphy and Krown do that left and right...
Jeszika: Exactly, they're not real champions, B. Lacey on the other hand, she's the one I would be worried about. She earned hers the hard way. She's a tough girl, like us.
Bethany: I remember, she was standing next to us when we were all the champions.
Jeszika: Her I have respect for... them? Not so much.
Bethany nods.
Bethany: I should have called ahead and made sure Ash wasn't gonna be there first.
Jeszika: The gym? Why? Is she still pissed at me?
Bethany nods.
Jeszika: Probably wise...
Bethany frowns.
Bethany: To call ahead?
Jeszika: Yeah... cause you know if she has a go at me... I won’t be responsible for lashing out...
Bethany: I think she's just hurt...
Jeszika: And I'm not?
Bethany shrugs sadly.
Bethany: I don't know, both of you have been quiet lately.
Jeszika: Dude... I had to watch my girl have drugs done off her and be kissed by someone else, after I said I didn’t want her to be in on the job... Can you blame me for being upset? Really?
She shakes her head.
Jeszika: I know it was just part of the job, but I don't want to see Carrie hurt... Especially not with everything else going on at the moment.
Bethany: Is she still hiding at Prey?
Jeszika: Yeah.
Bethany nods knowingly.
Bethany: She used to do that with me too.
Jeszika: She is?

Bethany: Whenever she was upset, that's what would happen.
Jeszika: Should I go talk to her?
Bethany ponders this for a second and then nods.
Bethany: Probably.
She pauses.
Bethany: As for Ash...
She shrugs.
Bethany: I don't know what to do there.
Jeszika: Me neither.
Bethany: You two are so much alike that way...
Jeszika: Too much sometimes.

Bethany: Always made me glad Ash didn't like girls, because that would have been an explosive situation with you two.
Jeszika: Hell yeah, would actually be kinda scary.
Bethany: Especially knowing how you two react to being dared... and you know for sure somebody would have dared one of you, maybe both of you, you'd have both gotten all lubed up and high and...
Jeszika: things would have happened that we could regret...
Bethany nods.
Bethany: God help us... somebody would have dared all of us to do one of those Arsenal lesbian things everybody always jokes about wanting to see.
Jeszika: Could be fun if they did but yeah... The fights that could come out of it... not so much.
Bethany's eyes go wide.
Bethany: Nik and I would have been terrified... all the time...
Jeszika: And I'd be worried I'd upset you guys... and Ash.. she'd be pissed...

Bethany: I'm almost surprised Nikki didn't take offense to something Ash said... and then again, I'm not, because it's Nik.
Jeszika: What part?
Bethany: When Ash said she was the only one in the room you didn't have to worry about going after your girl.
Jeszika: I must have missed that.. So she was implying Nik would?
Bethany nods.
Bethany: I think she was just going overboard because there were three of us in the room who've swung that way... but still...
Jeszika: We were all angry and stressed and we took it out on the wrong people... Or target should be HIM... Instead we're stuck teaming with him and can't do a thing about it.
Bethany swallows hard.
Bethany: I'm almost afraid to try and go talk to Ash.
Jeszika: Same here.
She pauses to send off a text to the gym owner as they sit at a red light.
Bethany: I'm afraid of what I'm find...
Jeszika: How so?
Bethany: I'm afraid I'm gonna find her at the Lacroix house.
Jeszika: I see... and I would have driven her there....
Bethany: I don't think she needed an excuse.
Jeszika: I don't think any of us do.
Bethany nods as her phone goes off at the next red light.
Bethany: Oh good, Christina says Ash was already there and gone today.
Jeszika: That’s good then.
Bethany nods as they pull into the gym parking lot. She pulls into a space and then turns the engine off.
Bethany: You're not gonna go looking for...
She trails off, almost unable to find the words.
Bethany: That... are you?

Bethany: Like why Ash goes to see Lis and Kels.

They step from the vehicle and go inside where Bethany holds the bag to let Jeszika punch out her anger.
Several hours later, Jeszika Gautier pulls up outside the bar known as Prey and sighs heavily. Her girlfriend, Carrie Winter, was inside, either working or sitting in her apartment in the back and quite possible partaking in things she shouldn’t be either way. She shakes her head.
No, she wouldn’t think about that. She couldn’t let HIM do that to her! She steels herself for whatever comes next and makes her way to the door. Upon entering, she sees that Carrie is not at the bar. She makes her way through the bar to the door to Carrie’s place and knocks. The door slowly opens and Carrie glances out to see who’s there.
Carrie: Jezzy?
Jeszika: Hey, Care... can I...
She swallows.
Jeszika: Can I come in?
Carrie nods and steps aside, holding the door open as Jeszika steps inside. Carrie closes the door behind them and nods.
Carrie: Hi…
Jeszika: Are you...
She bites her lip.
Jeszika: Are you ok?
Carrie starts to nod but stops herself.
Carrie: Depends by what you mean by… ok...
Jeszika: I understand if you’re upset with me, Care... I really do...
Carrie just stares at her, seemingly in shock.

Jeszika: Just out with it Carrie... I know I should have never yelled at you and Ash the way I did. You guys only did what was necessary to get the job done.
Carrie’s eyes moisten almost immediately. She tries to fight back the tears but can’t manage to actually do it.
Carrie: I’m sorry…
The tears quickly start streaming down her face.
Carrie: I didn’t mean to, I just… they wanted me to shoot up and Ash started talking and I didn’t know what to do so i followed her lead. I’m sorry…
Her voice trails off and she starts to shake her head.
Carrie: Please don’t hate me… I don’t think I could handle losing this family again...
Jeszika instantly takes Carrie into her arms.
Jeszika: I could never hate you Care.
Clutching her girlfriend tightly, Carrie sobs into Jeszika’s shoulder.
Carrie: I just wanted to help.
Jeszika: I know, Care.. I understand that. I'm sorry I went nuts like I did... I just... it was hard to see someone else touching you that way. I love you too much, Carrie, and with everything going on at the moment... I guess I'm overprotective cause I don't wanna screw this up.
Carrie: I'm sorry I got us all... loaded...
Jeszika: Was bound to happen anyways.. not your fault, Care... All of this, is HIS fault.
Carrie nods sadly.
Carrie: I… did I knock you off the wagon for real? Have you been using again since?

Carrie: I’ve spent the last few days staring at things and wondering, “Should I dive into this? Is Jezzy? God help me, I want to so bad… but what if she’s not? You can’t do this to her, Care. You can’t disappoint her again. You can’t… betray her…”
Her voice breaks and she can’t go on any further.
Jeszika: I appreciate that, Care, I really do... I've spent all this week worried you would hate me for yelling at you guys the way I did... that you'd think me an overbearing girlfriend or something like that.
Carrie: I've felt... somehow... dirty...

Her bottom jaw quivers as she tries to fight just breaking down again.
