Nikki Peltier rides downstairs in the elevator of her hotel in order to meet her friend and client, Jeszika Gautier. Jeszika had stayed behind at the arena to retrieve a bag she's misplaced after the show and should be arriving presently. Nikki had ridden back with their friends and stablemates, Bethany and Ashley Kenyon, both of whom were presently upstairs making phone calls. Nikki watches as the numbers click by until the elevator comes to the lobby. The doors open and Nikki walks to the front door. Stepping outside, she glances around looking for Jeszika's black rented cadillac. Finding it parked off to the left, she walks over happily. about thirty feet from the car, Nikki suddenly notices that jeszika is slumped over in the driver's seat and takes off running.
Nikki: Jezzy? JEZZY?!!!?!?
She arrives at the vehicle and finds the door unlocked. Opening it, Nikki quickly checks Jeszika's wrist for a pulse.
Nikki: Jezzy? Jezzy, tell me you're ok? Jezzy?!!?
Jeszika comes awake with a small shriek of fear as she looks around panicked. Her head hurt and... how the hell did she get here. She blink as she looks at Nikki.
Jeszika: nik?
Nikki hugs her, relieved to see she's alive.
Nikki: Oh thank God!
Jeszika: How did I get here.... I.... what?
Nikki shrugs, backing off for a second to give Jeszika both space and air.
Nikki: i don't know. I just came down here to meet you and... you were here.
Jeszika: the last thing I remember I was walking back to my car and....
She gasps
Jeszika: someone attacked me from behind... hit me in the head and....
Nikki checks the back of Jeszika's head.
Nikki: well, you don't appear to be bleeding.
Jeszika: that's good... but who would attack me... and how did I get back here?
Nikki shakes her head.
Nikki: I don't know... goddamn did that give me a fright! I was scared shitless of what i was gonna find... even more of what i was gonna tell Bethy and Ash if I had to go upstairs and tell them.
Jeszika: what's the time? How long have I been here?
Nikki: I don't know, we've only been here ten minutes so, not long.
Jeszika: this person was quick then
Nikki: So it appears...
She shakes her head.
Nikki: can you stand up?
Jeszika: I think so
She tries to, a little shaky at first but she manages to make it to her feet.
Nikki: do you want me to call them down here or?
Jeszika: Let's go upstairs. I feel like we're being watched.
Jeszika grabs her bag and cell phone and they head upstairs.
Jeszika: do you think it was him Nik? Or could the Irish bastard be the ones behind it?
Nikki shrugs.
Nikki: Knowing the psychos in UWA, yeah, it could be.
She pauses for a second.
Nikki: How have we made so many enemies, Jezzy?
Jeszika: well if we were still doing our old job that's a reason in itself.
Jeszika sighs
Jeszika : I don't know nik... i don't know...
Nikki shrugs.
Nikki: We still do that job, just not as big anymore. They've all been simple recon jobs for months. Nothing big, just enough to keep the money rolling in.
Jeszika: yeah but not like we used to. There's not hit girl job anymore.
Nikki: no, he last few Ash has been able to do just while waiting for Billy's tests and stuff at the hospital. Bethy did one the other day while she went grocery shopping.
Jeszika: that's true.
Nikki sighs.
Nikki: How bad does it hurt?
Jeszika: bad enough. Might take some painkillers once we get upstairs. Don't think it's life threatening
Nikki nods as they get into the elevator and take the ride upstairs.
Nikki: What do you wanna tell Ash and B?
Nikki: Cause you know, Ash is gonna jump to the conclusion that it's the irish and wanna hunt them down... tonight. And B is gonna feel guilty as all hell, and after everything else this week... there's going to be no telling her it's not her fault.
Jeszika: I don't know Nik but hiding it would be worse....
Nikki nods as the doors open onto their floor.
Nikki: let's just get you to the room here.
Jeszika: ok
Nikki: makes me feel better we're sharing a room this trip.
Jeszika: me too
Nikki gets the door open and guides Jeszika to her bed.
Nikki: I'm gonna text Ash and B here, let 'em know you're here and something's up.
Jeszika: Thanks nik
Nikki starts firing off the texts when Jeszika's own phone chimes.
Jeszika: maybe that's them now.
She pulls her phone out of her pocket and looks at it. She had a new email icon sitting there.
Nikki: B says she's gonna be here in a sec... and Ash just did too.
A knock on the door comes. Nikki walks over and opens it as the sisters walk inside the room.
Ashley: What's going on?
Bethany: Jezzy, are you ok?
Jeszika: someone attacked me after the show hit me from behind... i woke up here in my car...
As she says this she opens the email. Almost dropping her phone in shock.
Jeszika: Its from him...
A video starts playing showing a man in a hood sitting Jeszika into the passenger seat of her car. He walks back over to the driver's seat and climbs inside. As the door closes, the camera focuses on Jeszika sitting in the other seat, unconscious.
Voice: Safety first...
Her seatbelt is fastened for her and then the car starts up.
Voice: Such a wonderful thing, time to ourselves like this...
Five minutes later, the car parks in the hotel parking lot. The camera starts out of the door and moves over to the passenger seat. Jeszika is picked up and carried to the driver's side where she is placed into the seat. Her seatbelt is once again fastened. A single rose is placed on the passenger seat and then the hooded figure leans in and kisses Jeszika on the lips.
Voice: Until next time, Iscah...
The camera moves back and closes the door, leaving her there all alone before fading out.
Jeszika's hands are trembling by the time the video is finished.
Jeszika: He... touched me... He was in my car... He...
She shakes her head not wanting to believe it. Nikki moves in quickly and hugs Jeszika.
Nikki: We should have stayed, I'm sorry.
Bethany stares at them and moves in as well.
Bethany: Oh God... oh God...
Ashley: Fucking.... bastards!
Jeszika hands clench into fists
Jeszika: I bet he's watching us right now... what do you want you fucken bastard huh?
Nikki nods and sits up.
Nikki: Hold that thought...
She quickly moves to her bag and retrieves a small device.
Nikki: let me see your phone.
She hands over her phone to Nik
Nikki runs her device over it and the device starts screaming. Nikki nods, flips it over and checks, finding a bug by the battery.
Nikki: Ash, if you wouldn't mind holding on to that for a second please...
Ashley nos, taking it. Nikki quickly scans the rest of their phones and Jeszika's laptop.
Nikki: That's the only one...
Jeszika: Can you disable it?
Nikki nods.
Nikki: Ash, go flush it.
Ashley nods and takes it into the bathroom. A second later, she comes walking back out.
Ashley: Done.
Jeszika: its a shame... i liked that phone...
She pouts a little
Jeszika: I wish I knew what he wanted... What I could do to make him stop... What do we do to attract people like this?
Nikki: Your phone should be fine now but if you're not comfortable with that one, we can get you a new one and just hold onto that one to see if he tries again.
Jeszika: I'll keep it... Bastard will no doubt find a way to tag new one anyways...
Nikki: Ok.
Jeszika: I can't believe he kissed me... And... Touched me... I feel so violated...
She shivers in disgust
Jeszika: I need a shower...
Nikki nods.
Nikki: Go on, we'll sit here and wait, make sure no one comes in here.
Jeszika: Thanks guys.
